In this 3rd episode of my Toys From the Past segment, we review and unbox the Meg Doll from Mattel from Disney's Hercules from 1997! Enjoy!

I think Megara ABSOLUTELY deserves to be included in Disney Princess franchise!! Along with Esmeralda, Jane, Kida, and Giselle! I mean technically speaking, Esmeralda married a knight, Jane & Giselle didn't married to royalty, but Kida IS still a princess (or queen) so I hope in the future they would be included. Or at least had a Disney Store Exclusive or Limited Edition dolls. I would love to see them with beautiful quality clothing and designs.

I STILL have this doll to this day. I lost the little snaps I believe but I still have her doll and her shawl and skirts. I'm so happy I still have her. I remember getting her cause she was so unique compared to the other Disney dolls. I don't think I will ever let her go.

Now I´m feeling so old XD I had her when she came out and then I lost her and got Hercules. And then I lost him too. I think the last piece I had from both was Meg´s dress and Hercules cape XD

I had this doll when I was a kid and I loved her so much...I had such great memories of carrying her around everywhere I went! I want to get her again so bad. I adore what you did with giving her the new body! She looks fantastic!

thank you for doing this review, I actually have this dress, but only the dress. not the shawl, skirt, or shoes. I don't even have a doll...lol Megara is one of my top favorite heroine gals. I have always felt slighted that Mulan scored princess status while Meg did not. I have been tying to find even a nude one on eBay... I do however have the Magic Wings Pegasus and he is one of my treasures. you put batteries in his belly, tilt him upwards, and he flaps those beautiful wings. my late grandmother bought him for me. he was always my favorite character, and Disney horse. I even have a tattoo of a Pegasus even though it is of Flutterby (from serendipity press) I love these toys from the past reviews!

i got this doll when i turned two, and i was absolutely in love with her! however, i did take off her accessories and shoes, and now i feel really bad about it because she is just such an amazing character and also a great doll. i also got the two doll set with meg and hercules a few years later.

no I didn't get her in the 90's. the last disney doll I got was esmeralda. but I wanted meg but felt like I was to "old" to get her. (I was 14) So when I saw her last year for 22 dollars on a Swedish ebay (called tradera) and that was the buy now price. well I just felt like I did win the lottery. good price for a wonderful doll. 💖

Life in the Dreamhouse Midge/Fashionista Raquelle have the same skintone as this doll! It's the pale pink tone but the articulation isn't as extensive. Still really nice though!

Meg deserves to be in the Princesses Franchise but I doubt it because it's been a long time since the movie came out and sadly, she is like a "forgotten" character from a "forgotten movie... but maybe a Limited Edition or a Fairytale Dessigner Collection doll (like Alice or Petter Pan) I hope so

Did you consider a 20 yr re-release? They may make her a princess for that. And yes they are called pleats. Another great video, but seeing her original body before you changes it would have been nice. Regardless, toys from the past rocks this channel.
