It's depressing how despite Pikachu technically being the cause of the seizure moment, it was Porygon's evolution line that got pretty much blacklisted from showing up in the anime. It's so funny that the Jynx episode was meant to air after the Porygon episode. Imagine the insane combo of getting a seizure and watching the show next week and getting blasted with racism. I'd also like to mention some things about the Porygon episode since I've done a lot of research on it for no reason: - Pokemon had an extremely large audience to the point where it's estimated that 17% of homes in Japan were watching the Porygon episode when it aired - Nintendo was the first to speak about the incident but all they said was "this is a thing with the anime not the games lol" - Months prior to the incident, the channel that aired Pokemon received calls about a different show and how it gave their kids seizures. The episodes were edited and continued to air. - Once Pokemon came back, it was like nothing ever happened. They went right back to the high audience numbers. - James is hot
