Thank you for helping me vicariously visit these parks. I have started a thing for me that I am vicariously and virtually visiting every park in the USA, alphabetically. I am unable to walk over 200 feet without a walker because of back injuries so instead of wishing I could go hiking and visit all these beautiful parks, I have decided to go to the FB pages of each park and watch KZbin videos of those who have visited. I then pick 4 to 5 of my favorite pictures of that park , share them on FB and encourage people to travel with me this way. I already have a few virtual travel buddies. I really like your video and am subscribing to your channel.

Right on... loving your shots and set-ups. Having a young YT channel and learning about all that goes into a video, I REALLY appreciate all of the extra effort you put into your videos! Keep’em coming...l

I love hiking there with my kids. I live close by so it doesn’t take me long to get there and is a great place to cool off in the summer.

Nice! I try to get the kids out with me when I can. They're both still small, but they love exploring outside! I'll definitely have to come back and check it out when it's warmer!

Nah, I'm gonna need to know how to take your 2-mile scenic route because I wanna check out that little stream you crossed at 3:41 !!!

Or is it already passed the halfway/roadway you were talking about?

Haha! That stream should be after the gravel road crossing on the main trail to the falls! However, there's a chance it'll be dry if we've gone a few days without much rain. Have fun exploring! And good luck!

Ran across your channel looking for a hike to do in Alabama. This area looks like a winner

It's a beautiful place! You can hike for days out there, but the trip to the waterfall is short enough for a half day hike! Cheaha is really beautiful.

Thanks! I've been hearing a lot about Devil's Den from hikers since I published this, but I've never been. Gonna have to add it to the list!

I never can find the way down. How do I get there?
@explorewithjames4 жыл бұрын
As you start to approach the falls you can veer right and end up at a waterside camping spot. But if you keep going to the water and bear left, there's a trail along the cliff's edge. It gets steep at one point as you descend, and at the bottom the trail kind of disappears, but once you're down at the bottom you should be able to find your way back to the falls (to the right). Hope this helps! 😁

Where did you park to start on this trail
@explorewithjames3 жыл бұрын
For this video, I parked at the Chinnabee Silent Trail Parking Lot on Hwy 281. That parking lot should show up on Google Maps. The Chinnabee Silent Trail leaves directly from the parking lot, but if you cross over 281, you can follow the trail from there to the falls. It will carry you parallel to Cheaha Road 600G for a short ways, then you'll cross over Cheaha Road 600G to continue to the falls. It's a really pleasant hike. Hope you enjoy!
