Cheaney Refurbishment Service - Pennine II

Hi guys, I got my Cheaney Boots refurbished and resoled by Cheaney. These boots came back like they are almost new.
These boots are amazing in their look and the veldtscheon method used on the welt.

Also in the video I made a mistake of pronouncing the shoes "Pennie" but its "Pennine" like the town in the UK.

That's a great looking boot, you did the right thing sending back to Cheaney for repair, I've had shoes ruined by cobblers.

Hi mate! Very nice boots, a lot of comments saying your boots are ox blood in colour but I’ve seen these boots in the flesh and I would say they’re more a chestnut brown But that’s just my personal opinion but to be on the safe side I would send an e mail too Joseph cheaney and ask o.k. My friend!

Thanks for sharing. It would have been nice to have seen how the boots were before the refurb and a shame that the piece Cheaney added to the inner heal area wasn't glued in properly.

Also, the colour is Burgundy, I believe... you can also use black if you want to give it some depth.

@@堃-p7n There is only one colour for Pennine 2, I believe. What I meant was, when polishing you can use a burgundy polish that matches the original to give it redness, or use black sometimes to make the colour more deep in nature.

My field boots by ASM ( Agra Shoe Mart) look very similar to these boots, I think they copied cheaney , they used pebble grain only on the vamp, toe cap and heal counter are made of smooth leather

TBF unless you stole the boots from an fallen WW2 soldier all field boots are an copy .

I used Burgundy saphir shoe cream and it made it too red 🤣

You can google this boot or go to Cheaney ‘s official website and check this boot is in burgundy colour or ask them what they advise if it helps
