I have something similar I was doodling as an idea on some scrap paper. The dog I had in mind is twice the size of yours, so my platform idea is lower. It covers the center console and passenger seat. Thank you for posting this, it helps refine my idea. 👍

It proves very handy. It’s another shelf for storage when we’re sleeping in the back of the jeep. Our little poodle likes to stay with us, but sometimes uses the shelf as well. Cheers.

You have such an awesome jeep!!! Starting 2024 Pentastar-auto combo is gone forever (even for the X-rubicon). I didn't get Pentastar because of the eTorque junk it had to come with in 2022-2023 (removed in 2024).

Great idea! I personally would want the front drivers seat free to hop in and drive off if I feel uncomfortable in a solo camping situation. Is it possible to make it just for the passenger side?

Hey Red_Robin_Adventures, I believe if you just make the passenger half, the passenger seat can still be slid forward and hold that piece in place. I’d just suggest caution about driving anywhere like that, as it may not be safe, considering the air bag, and visibility concerns. Thanks for your feedback on the video. Cheers
