Poached eggs are NOT a pain. They're easy AND fast. In a nonstick skillet, bring an inch or so of water to a boil. Add 1 T. of vinegar. Carefully break an egg into the water. Turn of the heat, cover, and set a timer for 3 minutes. Your egg is done! Personally, I like mine at 3 minutes, 15 seconds.

You should make the Navajo breakfast. You need one tortilla, scrambled eggs, bacon, and cut fry potatoes: put the bacon into the eggs and potatoes, then, put the mixed eggs, potatoes, and bacon into the tortilla and roll it up, all so you have the Navajo breakfast burrito.tip if you want you can add mutton.🙂

What an interesting way to make recipes! I tried the Lo Mein variation with a little bit of your fried rice recipe without the msg & cauliflower. Most Chinese people don’t use MSG unless it’s a Chinese restaurant recipe when we make Chinese food. You can use a little bit of oyster sauce (the non organic kind has MSG & organic Oyster sauce doesn’t have MSG) in Asian dishes & a use a spoonful of sesame oil to make fried rice, Lo Mein or other Asian recipes taste more savory. Thanks for all the amazing recipes you post! 😊❤️🙏🏻

For the fried rice and the soup, if you don't want to spend time chopping, you can get a back of frozen mixed vegetables and use that instead. Not as cheap as fresh veggies, but still *relatively* cheap, and saves a lot of time. (And they're just as nutritious as fresh!)

You MUST try Indonesian food named Rawon. Rawon is from East Java and it's like black beef soup, there's some ingredient that will make you really hard to get called "Kluwek" (Pangium Edule). But if you can make this food you will get heavenly taste. And you must eat this Rawon with rice, bean sprouts, salted duck egg, Tempe, and shrimp crackers

I was born frugal. But I'm now wondering how many of these videos, which get top views, get them for content creators or for a more nefarious reason. NWO: "You will have nothing and you will be happy". Feel free to poke fun, but I think back to the 1st "self checkouts" in grocery shops. I said, "they're going to fire the checkout people", and I was told I was negative. This, while YT themed, "eat for less than a dollar" feels EXACTLY the same.

Try bulgur wheat in you salads, we like to use medium grain sized for salads but fine grain works to. Coarse or extra coarse Bulgur works well to replace rice and pasta as well. See if you can find the Turkish chilli and tomato concentrate paste mild or hot, we discovered it while making various Turkish bulgur recipes and we now use the mild version instead of just tomato concentrate for most recipes. Bulk bulgur, rice, beans and lentals have become our goto for cheap eats, buying in bulk 20kg sacks saves you alot [and is a nice food reserve], yes it can take some planning or use of a pressure cooker but with the use of in season vegetables from the farmers market we eat cheaper and more healthy.

When it comes to the first recipe, would it be okay if i used a normal potato instead of a sweet one? Asking because sweet potatos arent too popular in my country and so they usually cost alot more simply because of that. Otherwise seems very tasty, ill certainly try to add it to my repertoire. Also, ive got my own sorta kinda fanc-i e r struggle meal recipe thats quite easy to make, which i stole off of youtube and changed up a little bit: you take 2 eggs, shred a frankfurter ( i know sounds bad but bear with me) add it to the egg with some chopped up green onion, some salt and pepper, and 2 spoons of milk, once its all added just mix. Then pour it out onto a pan with preheated olive oil (or vegetable oil if you are a student like me) in a way that the whole mix is spread as much as possible on the bottom of the pan, wait until its gotten firmer then flip on the other side and add 3 slices of cheese then proceed to fold the egg mix towards the middle concealing the cheese inside. After that you should just be able to cook it on all sides until its done and enjoy your meal. I know, not exactly the best thing out there. Im gonna switch it up a bit more, thinking of using spam instead of a discount sausage and adding other vegetables to the overall mix, but i would love to see your spin on the meal and how you would personally take it to the next level.
