Bought the full set of these several years ago for £2.50 each. They are typical Tamiya even though the molds are quite old, they went together very well and as you say would be ldeal for beginners.

I bought three of these models (Fiat G.91; F-14; F-4) to make with my godson -- I think as first models for a child they will be simple enough. Well, and folded they won't take up too much space.

Hard to go wrong, at that price. As Matt showed, you can do a lot with them, and when done, they don't take up much space.

The prices are UK pounds The shop I purchased them from is a UK based supplier and I bought them online from them Hope that helps
