Power to the OBD socket is off when the key is turned off, therefore the gadget turns off. At least this in newer cars. Unsure in older cars, but should be the same.

so I have a Corsa diesel. I installed this. It can light up even you don't have key to the ignition. It goes to standby and screen is off when you dont use hte car. Also the read error is not working so probably need settings to the obd para??? Also the rubber pad is for use instead of the double side tape. it is ideal if you want to use it in different cars.

yes it does. but when ever you turn off the engine, it all resets for the new trip...

It does not measure the average liters per mile or km, you still have to calculate it, coz what it measures is the actual consumed gas in liter on that specific trip. At the end of the video, he is consuming 1.2 liters of gas on that trip. It also reads the total consumed gas in liter since the time the device was inserted on the car.

@NuttyNu or anyone who knows really. Hey, question here. When switching the data you would like to see on the main display, I only have 8 options, rpm, vss, volts... etc but no engine coolant temperature which is why I bought it. Do you have an idea of how to fix this ?

yes you can display that, just go change it in the main options. either to one of the main 4 corners or the main center display

@@NuttyNu yes I do that, and when all the options to change to come up, like car speed and voltage, they r only 8 not 95 or 92 like some other people have, I just have 8 options and ect is not one of them. I don't know how to fix this 😢

I just fitted one to my gen7 Toyota Celica and it causes my abs light to flash like mad and my airbag light comes on and off as soon as I remove it everything is fine not sure what to keep it as it seems well built and good functions.unless anyone knows how to sort those issues out any help be fine thanks

Did you find a solution to this problem? I have a tsport and am considering buying this..as soon as I heard obd2 I imagined this would happen because I frequently check my check engine codes through obd and while it is connected the dashboard lights go crazy every time..thanks in advance

@@Nisfakal I didn't find a solution It send my air bag light flashing my EML on plus my abs light flashing as soon as I took it off everything fine and when fitted I had no faults with my car even checked later with a obd checker I think this system isn't suitable for a gen 7 Toyota Celica, you may have to try other models until you get no flashing lights on dash I know longer want a device like that no more because it may do more harm than good best of luck to find one compatible with a gen 7 Celica

having the center screen rpm ''analog '' + digital or ''VSS = vehicle speed sensor'' , ''digital ''+ analog isnt so good . there should be a different setup like : outer ring for rpm's and center digital VSS . if there is not a set up like this then its a bad software.
