Another cart and have a good race would be cool. Also, it would be kick ass if the course could be longer than just the oval. I know it costs lots to prep and pave a track, but that would make the backyard shenanigans a lot better . Great job

I think the difference lies more in the engine than the style kart/chassis. Running the same engine the oval kart should be be able to turn left much more efficiently.

still think the slower carts are good for if you have a group of people racing then get 1 or 2 more of the tag karts for 1v1 or 3 person grudge racing.

The perfect engine for that track would be a100cc with a wet clutch and tuned pipe. The Yamaha KT100 are easy to tune and pretty reasonable to rebuild when they need it.

Oh come on guys... it is a 2 cycle versus a 4 cycle/stroke engine. Higher RPM's with the right gearing will naturally win out. For your type of private track kart racing with a lot of fun laps a 4 stroke will have longevity versus the gas and oil smoky mixture of a 2 cycle that requires a lot of maintenance. 4 wheel drifting slides with the old hard tires looks cool! BTW, the term is "affordable" vs cheap for the majority of kart racers in the US.
