Yeah, I think the old Clarion on I Drive was worse than Seralago. At least the plumbing worked at Seralago -- when I stayed at the Clarion, both the shower drain and toilet were constantly backing up.

Yes that's a horrible place too, is what you mean. I was woken this morning, 6 am by the police pounding on the door. A child was found walking around the parking lot. I was bit by something as I slept. Not even a good place to just sleep. You might be taking roaches back home, catch a respiratory infection with all the mold and mildew.

I had a good experience with Seralago. It is not the most fancy hotel in the world but if cheap is what you are looking for I would recommend it.

After you said, "(but) there are some things worth paying for"... I gave this video a Like. I sleep in my van a lot (in the southwest) but a room like the Clarion you showed is worth the $47 - that's a remarkable price these days, of course it's now 2 years since you posted the video.

Family stayed there twice on the advice of a well loved neighbor... We stayed the second time to prove the first time was just bad luck... We don't stay there anymore, for the reasons YOU listed plus many of our own!!! Do yourself and your family a HUGE favor..., JUST DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!

I've stayed there in 2019 , the back building reaked of mildew and had mold spots on the ceiling. It's also super shady there

Stayed there in 2019..room wasn't too bad..a bed lamp never worked and the TV was crap but You get what you pay for. We were in the pool and on the road for the most. The good thing about this place is that its next door to Old Town and Fun Spot.

Seen the place, never stayed there and after the review don't think I ever will lol we have always stayed at the Royal Parc suites and quite enjoy it there..Nice big clean rooms, friendly staff, free happy hour at the tiki bar everyday, 3min walk to old town/fun spot, free hot breakfast buffet and a family friendly atmosphere! It's nice to have a full kitchen to do some cooking but everything is so cheap to go dine out that is pretty much what you do if your hungry...Our last stay tho, we stayed at the Emerald island resort time share and that was just as great too just more inclusive and private..If I had to chose tho, I'd continue at the RPS because you can just walk over to old town hit a bar do some karaoke meet some cool people and then walk back to your room after...Or just grab a few cold ones sit by the pool with a small Bluetooth speaker and people come up all night long to sit meet and have a cheers with your group it's awesome!!

Just thought I'd chip in so you don't think you've wasted money... I choose to stay here everytime we go to Orlando, its an absolutely great place trust me! Facilities are great, and it's located near everything you could want. What he says in the video does hold true to the outer rooms of the resort as of the last time I was there in March. They have been slowly upgrading all the rooms from the centre outwards - and the room he showed in the video is most definitely the outer buildings waiting to be upgraded. I have no issues with the central rooms ever, however it does feel like you've gone back in time 20 years if you do happen to get stuck with the outer buildings - with the box tv and furniture etc. The rooms closer to the centre of the resort have flat screens and nicer layouts etc. I believe they sell it on there site as "pool side" rooms, they aren't much more expensive, but are a lot nicer. Ultimately any of them are fine in my opinion, you aren't there for the hotel at the end of the day :) hope this helps :D

I stayed there back in 2007. Was ok, cheap and basic and as people have said you get what you pay for.

We stayed there one night 2007 before checking in to All-Star Sports. It was less than $30 and was not a terrible experience. It was not great by any stretch but definitely not terrible. In 2010 we went back to this hotel. It looked like a hollowed out shell of the 2007 version of this hotel. Knobs were falling off drawers, the children's room had a tv with blown speakers, there was rust in tub. My wife slept in her clothes because she didn't want her skin touching the sheets that night.

I have to disagree. I have stayed there twice (once in 2019 and once last summer). It is a cheap hotel, and I love it. I haven't had any roach experiences, mold, mildew, or problems of any kind. But. . . I have always stayed in the junior suites. I know they have been renovating and refurbishing all the old ones. Maybe there are nasty rooms. But if it were that bad, Priceline wouldn't sell rooms there. They do have a set of policy standards. When a hotel does break it, they remove it from their listings, provided someone reports it and the report proves valid. Bottom line. This isn't my experience. I have had two very good ones here. Yes I recommend it. Yes I plan to go again.

@@helloagainratface9622 There aren't so many videos. And even if there were, it wouldn't prove the place is disgusting. This is a hotel that has more than a hundred rooms. No video can show every single one of them. You could find videos of one or two rooms that were dirty in one degree or another, but it could never be indicative of the whole, especially if there are those (such as me) who have stayed here and had clean rooms. It might also depend on what you mean by filthy. I'm okay with an older looking room. It doesn't have to look like something out of Southern Living to be clean. I have never seen any roaches here. But I can't comment on every room. Some may have. But I also know the people who run this place. If you find roaches, they will reaccommodate you and take care of the problem. No place is immune to problems. But there are reasons why this place was named a Disney World Good Neighbor hotel three years in a row recently. And why it keeps coming up on Priceline's recommended list.

If you mean staying at the Seralago is better than that, I'm not sure I would agree, when there are so many other good places to stay off-property that are almost as cheap.

Can't believe the hotel I nearly stayed at in Orlando. Checked in and checked out and demanded a refund🤣 basically a brothel and drug house, we feared for our lives. Just got back from Orlando and red the reviews about the shoot outs, police surrounding the building regularly, prostitutes, drug dealing, pimps, roaches, rats and mice, they're unbelievable. My girlfriend and I are laughing about it now but definitely not at the time. Can't believe they've not been shut down. Only wanted to stay one night as I had driven from ft Lauderdale and was just too tired at 4am to keep on driving to international drive where our hotel was booked.🤣🤣🤣

Main gate is the same - didn't see roaches but there were ants and some little bugs I could not described - room stank and same exact "features" you had in your video - left almost in the middle of the night, disgusting

I don't like being blunt or sounding rude but I swear that this is a hooker hotel. Johns probably book this place to pick up street walkers. I've seen places like this around some parts of Texas and Florida and noticed a theme: there are always shady looking people taking barely-dressed women to their rooms...

He's not hating. We was there last week and couldn't even get in and out our room without maintenance having to come. My 2 year old Grandson was bitten by bed bugs. The room was not clean and smelled. Rusty, dirty and doors didn't open. We actually had to go get mattress covers, pillow covers and blankets. The shower was dirty blood in corner of bathroom mirror was filthy and mold smelly dirty rugs. I have pics to prove my claims
