What does the golden zone mean? More food and neighborhood tours.

So the Golden zone is just an area north of centro not sure how it got it name, but they have a system here for naming all of the different areas of the city. Its definitely more touristy and more western food with higher prices. Lots of great neighborhoods to explore with lots of big beautiful homes. Its quite enjoyable ✌🏻

We have our first exploratory trip to Mexico, which will be to Mazatlan, at the beginning of September. We really like to be able to walk to places- live music, markets for food, restaurants, etc. we are staying in the Centro. Any other areas that you consider a great walking area? I will assume the golden zone such as in this video?

Thank you so much for stopping by. We also love to walk every where too.Centro and the golden zones are great you can also grab a bus and go to Cerritos its another area to explore. Also don't forget to walk around the "old golden zone" as well there is always live music there. Hope this helps and would love to hear about your journeys.

I have lived in Mazatlan for 14 years off and on between traveling the world, always land back in Sabalo Country where Fat Fish is, the ribs are the most tender in the area. I always just get the ribs and potato to go and enjoy it at home, I can't cook it at home for the price.

Cheap eats is great cuz I'm moving to Sabelo country in Oct. I was there in May in the golden zone and a block from my Airbnb was a place called Chillatos. There garlic sauteed sea bass is fantastic and only about $6.00! I couldn't get enough of it. Try it, you'll like it!

Have a couple of suggestions. For an authentic/locals place, try Taqueria San Pablo on blvd Raphael Buelna, not far from your location. Great Food at Rin Rin Pizza, also in the area

I love seeing the city… I agree with the cheep eats places, why eat anything else in Mexico? Tacos are always a hit every place has something a little different but find what you like best. I still don’t understand why fat fish is popular but that’s just me. Btw I know where you can get the best pizza in Mazatlán but it’s a little off the beaten path… thanks for sharing the best city in Mexico. 👍enjoying your videos.

Simple, inexpensive eateries in Mexico like _Mi Cocina_ are favorites of ours - we miss the variety and flavor of these types of places so much here in Guatemala! Could you please include some slow-motion shots of the food in future videos, perhaps set to some romantic music?? 😀😂🤣
