Just last week I bought a 2005 Aero Blue Pearl SRT6 convertible (roadster) from a dealer near me. 43,000 miles, and in virtually flawless condition! This SRT6 Crossfire is an absolute BEAST!!! The ride is a little too firm for my 67 year-old tush, but once on smooth roads, it's a total pleasure! And that AMG hand-built supercharged V6....all I can say is it's downright scary (i.e thrilling!) when the transmission shifts down when you're driving on the highway....feels like Stars Wars when they go into Hyperspeed! And I LOVE the way it looks!!! I decided to sell my 1994 Jaguar XJS V12 convertible in order to buy this one; that's how great the Crossfire is to drive! So cool that they built a vehicle basically just for fun and smiles! Thanks for your detailed review of your car...I very much enjoyed it!

I recently bought a 2005 Silver Crossfire SRT6. Always wanted one when I was in highschool. Bought it for $10k with 80k miles, probably should have paid more from a dealer, lots of electronic/wiring fixes and water leaking fixes that i didnt know about from the owner. Especially leaking around the spoiler area, and the drains in the front getting clogged causing water to puddle in the passenger footwell. I love the car, but just beware when buying one, since as you said they are approaching 20 years old.

@HomesteadReliance7 ай бұрын
Price really depends on area. There are some in my area that are not selling even at low price. What other car can you get with 39k for $12,950? Not much at this price point. Blue book value on my car is $3k now with 60k miles. It’s subjective as nothing comes close in this price range. That color combo you are looking at is pretty cool tool. I really wanted red interior and would over pay for it. Size I think you will be ok. It’s large inside (I have to move my seat way forward ) I think in 10 years the value is going way up on these

I regret not buying a Crossfire SRT6.. it was a fun little car it had probably 65,000 miles on it and only reason I walked away from it, it was a dealership known for their hi over inflated pricing.. $13k for the car.. but test driving it was fun and I loved it wanted it but the dealer had one of those no haggle policy and even with trade in it was still over $13k ( an 08' Escape ) with only 105k on and the Crossfire was a 2006, too . but if I find one I may go after it ..

Having previously owned a C5 Corvette, how does it compare with the Crossfire? I realize the two vehicles are quite different, especially from a performance standpoint. Given the current prices of C5s, though, the Crossfire does seem like a great value proposition.
@HomesteadReliance Жыл бұрын
The C5 does have more power, but the build quality is very good on the crossfire. An older friend of 90 years old, who was a small time collector had one and when I asked him about it he said.."Oh that piece of junk, ya ya" Anyway, I finally read enough reviews to realize he was full of sht, and I found one in a couple months ago, a 2008 sapphire blue, Limited with 59k miles.. and got a good deal on it.. this person also was a small time collector/driver.. He had a early ninties vette parked near it.. and when I pulled up and saw the two back-end views..
