Great review, thank you. It helped convince me to get one. My only concern is that it that the bracket holds the flash gun securely as I don't want to drop my £300 SB900...

The biggest problem is the underhand position the camera is in, for Portrait format. A Rotation bracket, like the Stroboframe, Justrite or Custom Brackets brand let you hold the camera in a more natural position, and they can be bought second hand for not much more than this one is new. Because there's not much to wear out, it's pretty safe to buy a used one.

JOE PRETE The problem with my Stroboframe is I can't use my battery grip with it as it doesn't allow enough space for rotation. I know there are better ones but then the cost outweighs the benefit to me as I rarely do events. In fact, like the guy in the video, the only ones I do is for a charity I'm involved with.

I have a problem keeping the camera from swiveling on the bracket. I tighten it, but it doesn't seem to stay put. Ideas???

How do you put it away in your camera bags Does it fold away.

It’s kinda awkward it just folds into an L shape so it only fits in my large camera bags.

That flash bracket is just a copy of the original maker Stroboframe... first-time I owned one was back in 1992... Great frame but it is hard on the flash shoe if not handled carefully!
