Schœnefeld - Frankfurter Allee - Alexanderplatz - Mærkisches Museum - Zoologischer Garten - Olympiastadion - Hauptbahnhof - Brandenburger Tor - Westhafen - Stadtmitte - Alexanderplatz - Hauptbahnhof - Innsbrucker Platz - Griefswalder Straße - Bismarckstraße - Kaiserdamm I like how the Berlin U-Bahn feels less separated from street level. It is because it is mostly only 1 storey below ground & because there are no ticket barriers. It feels like I could be walking into any subway (British subway not American subway) 1:20 | Inspection is spelt the English way U55 was built as part of an extension of U5. They are currently connecting them up. I have no idea why they built the further away section before the closer section.

It is weird that it is spelt the english way. I have seen that inspection control with it in German in England.

Fun fact: Hbf is short for 'Hauptbahnhof', which means main railway station in German.

Those wooden train interiors really do look great. I love that with the crane. 😁

Sadly, the U55 is currently not in Service. They are currently preparing the line to connect it to the other lines.

U55 never made sense in the first place. It felt like a relic from when Berlin was divided.

The Ubran (i don’t know how to really pronounce it) stations are like NYC styles.

The U22 reminds me of the Waterloo & City line for some reason.

such adventures will be slightly harder if UK leaves the EU. german otis lifts look great. berlin s bahn sounds fantastic. on the fast lift what is all that clicking?

It's going to happen - only six days until we invoke Article 50 and prepare to leave the EU

staying in the EU will put you in a more productive position.

Sam Sitar It won't be hard to travel as we will have freedom of movement for a while. The EU are proposing to charge us £30 for a sort of free movement visa which lasts for a couple of years. I personally believe we'll be in a better position, it's a simple fact that the EU will collapse one day

that clicking is probably floor numbering device / or ticky tape (not gonna be the case cuz impossible because it is a Schindler and not a generic.)
