TLTG Reviews - wow! I’m surprised! I guess I know now what are going to be your next fragrance purchases. 😄 As you would say, don’t sleep on them. They are all worth at least twice what you pay for them. I have found that to be true for all the Lalique fragrances I own. I own Encre Noire, Encre Noire Sport, Encre Noire A’la extreme, White and Linsoumis. All of them are simply divine.

Lalique por homme (lion) has a fantastic dry down for me [i am always looking for Xeryus replacements]- i found the top really abrasive for 5 minutes or so but settles into something adventurously complex

If you like Run Wild, try Presence by Mont Blanc! Cinnamon bubble gum opening with a baking spice mid and a barbershop vibe in the drydown. the most underrated frag in my collection IMO and tons of compliments.

I love a lot of the John Varvatos fragrances. They do indeed smell expensive. But you are so right... not the best performance though. Thankfully we have decants, lol. 😁

Gaddocks Varvatos Pure lasts. It’s a great summer fragrance and lasts. I spray it on my clothes as well as my skin and it lasts eight hours easily.

Great video, Ross. Love these cheapie videos. I totally agree with every single fragrance you mentioned in this video, man. I happen to own most of them. JV Dark Rebel is freakin amazing in the colder weather. Gotten some decent compliments with it. As for cheapies that smell more expensive than the cost, I would say any fragrance by Lalique...particularly the Encre Noire line and L’insoumis. I would put Bogart Pour Homme in there as well, as it smells way better than the 15 bucks I paid for it, and lasts a long time. Be well Ross!

Varvatos blu is a great pick...you have to wear it a few times to get that its really a green soapy frag. One day it was really humid in Florida and it shined big time for me! Not a huge lady killer but under rated for sure

Joop! perfumes that fall into this category are Wow! and Go! Both of them are great with unique note combinations, very good performance and moderate projection. Very good spring and summer Fragrance, both of them are. Really need you to show some love for them and mention them in your videos.

Tj maxx had a few bottles of it. Product sat there forever before it was sold i think 34 .99 so try tj maxx and marshalls there is even a ross here in southeast florida that has things like prada l homme azzaro wanted donna karan be delicious invictious aqua versace. Ralph lauren mercedes bentley and many other greats from time to time at stellar prices.

John Varvatos Dark Rebel is nowdays impossible to get. People going hype about it. I got 2x100ml bottles for €50 while back ago and it was just barly worth the price. I gave away one of them to my friend. Now you can't find them, and if you do they are like £50 for 75 ml which is not worth. I wonder if this will be the same czas as with Rock Volume One from JV which is being sold for ridiculous money on eBay. This smell at best is average. I don't believe folks are actually playing this type of money.

Thank you for your opinion. Here in the United States, Dark Rebel is easily found at discount stores like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Burlington, etc. for $29.99 USD. Every single time I speak, I speak for what is going on here

smelled L1212 at a store. Didn't like it at all. Maybe I should smell it again. as varvatos filed for bankruptcy in 05/2020, I guess they're all discontinued?! and will rise in price. I'm quite surprised that no Montblanc or Hugo Boss was on the list. At least Mercedes made it. Give us germans more room LOL ;-) jk Hard to pick 10 when there are so many great cheap frags that smell expensive. Another ultra cheap one that smells quite expensive is the Tabac line. Just smelled Tabac Man and Tabac Craftsman some days ago. They are from Mäurer and Wirtz. Same german Company that bought 4711, which is based in my city (Cologne). Sometimes you can get 300ml Tabac bottles for 15 Euros (17.75 USD). I have Essenziale blu and colonia on my list for quite some time now. Just for their great sprayers alone. Have to get them. Great video, as always.

In reference to JV, I think the opposite will happen. As a matter of fact, I'm seeing a lot of them in Marshall's, tjmaxx, Ross etc. The bankruptcy may cause them to liquidate quickly
