And I also found Coco Coir for $1.25. If you are going to splurge a little, focus on the quality of your seed starting soil. You will thank me later!

The Cayenne we get from Dollar Tree always come up fine, haven't tried many others but I'm probably going to stop by in the next few days and pick more up!

Howdy Robyn! I love to garden, but landlord says everything must be grown in pots. Must not dig up the yard….in ground watering system ya know!

Container gardening is a thing! Look up the concept thriller, spiller and filler. Great way to grow a lot of food I'm small spaces.

I grew some of the yellow beans from the 4 for a dollar rack. I didn't have the best germination rate but even though I only had like 2 or 3 plants, that's STILL not a bad price per plant. I got some fresh beans for 25 cents.

That's a really good point. Doesn't have to be perfect germination, even one plant for a quarter is a great price!
