I work in manufacturing cnc mill/lathe setup and operator. i have always enjoyed working with my hands. I dont consider myself an artist. When I think about crafting, and what that means, to me crafting is getting the most quality you can with minimum time and money. I craft for a DM, when I sit down to craft I have a few days a couple of dollars and a pile of trash to work with to get the parts out in time. I also enjoy working with foam and wire cutters and going crazy on a huge setpiece, but to me personally, that is something where you have to put more time, more money, have more tooling, and I treat a project like a piece of art and I get nitpicky. Im not saying either one is superior, but as a machinist im conditioned to really geek how your crafts, Scotty, always hit the holy trinity of making anyrhing; that is fast, cheap, high quality.

I'm in the midst of building a version of your stone shaft using a full size tube from a well-known baked potato chip brand instead of TP cores. Going pretty well so far... I'm using the tube's plastic lid for the top ring - the outer lip of the lid made it easy to hot glue / secure it to the tube.

How would you make a coffin half risen from the dig site, that is removable from the grave? Your skills are great. Your tutorials are very helpful. I use to only sculpt things 2 liter size bottles or bigger. But I am finding it enjoyable & challenging. Thank you.

Have you tried this with a paper towel roll? wouldn't have to connect to two tp rolls and reinforce as much. Great addition!

I have a different Idea but I would like to have your input on this, I'm planing several potato chip cans (you know, the guy with the mustache and the bow-tie) so I can have a series of stackable shafts, and hotglueing gravel on both the inside and outside, plus making the "ladder" removable (nasty beast, beholders) and setting at least some of the rungs closer together as to position a mini at different heights, say 2" or so...
@theDMsCraft
@theDMsCraft 7 жыл бұрын
Be careful of the height...could make it really unstable.

I am planning an adventure loosely based upon the house and well in The Story of Cinderella episode 22...i was considering using wrapping paper rolls. Make one of the rat king's hide out. For about a month now the noble and the poor alike has been plagued by someone who has been controlling the total rat population in the city and using them as thieves to rob everyone blind..

its so low temp the glue cools so fast its hard to use except for small projects. I was surprised it used the small glue stick size. the only good thing imo is the long nozzle for detail work.
