Look at you, getting all arty with photographing your whiskey glass and your bed. I guess your misses heard what you'd done to the board with your over eager fingers; so you're sleeping alone. With the selection of music and the fine work on show, it was almost like I was watching a Luke Towan video. The different being that your work looks somehow more achievable than Mr Towan's scary output. Using the tops of the little trees as the ground cover is a great idea and works so well. The dead leaves was a fantastic little detail too. This has been a great series, and I'm looking forward to the finished product. It is almost as good as a fancy, Caribbean holiday.

have you ever tried to use sandblast sand before ? I've use it for basing and it looks like real sand. if you are looking for a realistic sand look, but I don't even know can get it in the UK. just a thought. the board looks amazing !! keep it up.

I use these palm trees myself for tropical jungle build. Many have horrible mold lines that are difficult to remove unless you sand them down. Is this what you did?

I see someone forgot to paint the coconuts a pale greenish brown colour, otherwise looks not bad but would prefer to see more palm trees as they are a bit on the spartan side. Cheers Matey!

Have you tried China for trees. They are cheap as chips... I bought 100 Large and 100 for a fiver with free postage. Can't go wrong at those prices.

Interesting interlude with the Red Label. The one thing you could have done to the palm trees was to paint the leafs/branches of the lower, older section a beige/brown color. But, don't get me wrong, I am not criticizing the master. 😂
