My DHK Hunter is 5 years old and stock no repairs made yet. Leaves any Traxass in it's rooster tail

Keep it

I'd upgrade the ESC to a 120 amp, slap in a 4000KV motor. Replace the servo with a 9kg rated. Amd upgrade the shocks. I've done these upgrades and haven't had a Traxxas Slash or Arrma Senton beat it on track days

Appreciate the tips! I definitely have some plans for this truck, but as always in this hobby, it will have to wait for all my other plans! haha, thanks for watching

Hi, I have a DHK Hunter as well and I am curious to know if the main drive shaft is supposed to have slop between the two ends. there is probably 1/4 inch gap on each end.

What would I do with it? The same thing I do with my DHK Hunter, put in a 3S , 3300 mAh lipo and kick ass

Yeah this is definitely my favorite in the fleet, durable too

I had the brushed version and bought a brushless motor and esc , however since the diff is plastic the pinion gear shreds it after a while, does the brushless version have a stronger diff than the brushed ?

Don’t remember, it’s been awhile since I’ve teared it apart. The brushless version I have tends to hold up to abuse much better than traxxas equivalent

@@JacobusRC I’m going to buy a new center diff that’s from the brushless version , hopefully it stands up to more abuse , but I agree right off the bat this thing handles way better than a slash
