Cheap Rental Car Price in Antalya???

Visited some rental car companies around Liman area to find the cost per day in USD.

1st was freaking crazy high USD35/day & he didn't even speak a word of English.
***PS: Make sure you have a translator app to assist in these situations.
2nd was more reasonable USD17/day.
Only catch - limited mileage per month.
The owner was really cool...You could probably negotiate the rates if you book 2+ weeks
3rd Option - Do your research.
I found a small rental company located 5 mins from Antalya airport who can deliver the car to your location for a few bucks (USD10 for me), your price will depend how far you are from him.
I rented car for USD10.50/day
The moral of this video is: Don't Accept the First price that comes your way.
Do your Due Diligence and choose according to your needs and your budget.

Hi, thanks for the info! We are coming to turkey in few months .September . Was wondering if the price by then would be more in a low season price range or ? Also for small company the insurance and process is same with bugger brands car rental or it is more risky ? Thanks a lot for answering ahead !:)

Yes in the Low season the prices WILL drop. Are you coming as a Tourist or with intention of Living here? As for Car Rental you can use any smaller brand rental company because of course the price would be greatly reduced if you do so. Also using smaller companies for insurance coverage is not only cheaper too but covers you the same too. Just make sure that the rental company gives you in writing that you will be covered fully in the case of an accident or damage and this is your proof. Do not pay more than 8 Euros per day for the full coverage insurance. Negotiate maybe 6 Euros. Good Luck

If you get a scooter another good thing in turkey is you don't need a drivers license to ride it. Only 250cc+ bike needs a license.

The drop off can be negotiated. I dropped off at airport when I was leaving on a trip. You can get the car picked up for additional 15 Euro. Whatever method is more comfortable for you, you can use. Cheers

I rented in the lower season that's why prices are lower and you can bargain more. In high season, unfortunately they increase the prices. October the prices will be dropping. If you find another place make sure they offer unlimited km. Many car companies rent with limited kn.

This was in jan-feb. But deals can be found if you negotiate. Never accept the price and always haggle down. If you act desperate then you will pay higher rates. Good luck.

The best thing to do is search online for cheap rental companies near the airport. The company I used raised their prices since last year so its not worth now. You are in the off peak season so you can get really good deals now. You can also approach car rental companies near you and negotiate the price. Go really low like US$10/day for newer cars and $7-8/day older cars. Good Luck. Cheers

Yes for Car Rental you need a Credit Card for the deposit they put on hold, or the car company will charge insurance fees to your rental so could end up being charged additional 8-10 euros more per day.

I would recommend finding a new car rental company close to Antalya airport. Prices will be cheaper than the city and you can also negotiate prices. You could start with reservation online for a few days first then speak to the company directly and negotiate the prices. Right now is off season so you should not pay more than $12-15/day.
