I will admit I've never used a backhoe or excavator to compress a spring but I have used a ratchet strap. This tool makes it much safer and eaiser to release the new spring and get it aligned where you want it. New RZR pickup tomorrow so the actual spring swap is soon to follow. Thanks for watching.

Much smoother and gained ride height back after putting things in and on the rzr.

@@cliffknight5400 It did. I ended up just using it without clamping the bottom of the shock (being careful when aligning tension). Also do have to be careful to keep the spring hooks above shock body or against the plastic of the slider. The rears I got to do twice, the sliders go long end up. I did it wrong first time.
