What a transformation. So glad you used the dark blue velvet, it really was the perfect touch. The touch of gold also. I love doing projects like this where there's nothing to lose. Oh my the parlour suite is so beautiful in its space! Looks like it's always been there, love it! 😍✨

Thank you ,your right there was nothing to loose so I thought I would do something a little different to what I would normally do ,it’s amazing how a bit of gold can enrich items .thanks it just what I have been after this room has been empty for a few years not knowing what it would be .😁🥰🫶🏻all sorted now 😚

The little three piece suite turned out beautifully, and I also use pegs as clamps, have to remember to put them back in the peg bag when I’ve finished with them lol, tfs x Julie

The last shot of the antique parlor set is so beautiful. I also admire the work you did on the inexpensive set- the tri-colour works well and the dark blue is striking. IRL I had done reversible cushions for an antique Morris chair, with one side a floral Morris tapestry fabric, on reverse a navy denim, with moss green velvet piping, (The green was a colour in the tapestry.) Sold the chair long ago, but I might use the idea for a dolls' house.

I absolutely love that red set it was an incredible find I’m so happy for you. You’ve staged it beautifully. The set you made ,I love the fabrics and combination so lovely. The only suggestion and it’s only a suggestion respectfully .I can’t believe I’m saying this,because I love restoring old things to there former glory. The set looks a little too new maybe age it a little. Other than that it’s beautifully done. I just received my first china doll today ,she is so sweet I didn’t realize how tiny they were , i am starting my journey on a miniature adventure. Thanks to you and a few others I’m hooked . 💕💕💕

It’s called goldfinger my friend gave it to me but I have looked on Amazon and it is still available it’s a gilding wax and cosmic shimmer do a good one too xx hope this helps JoJo .xx x

Get an old credit card to help spread glue and to help push fabric into the corners. Best use ever for a credit card. Lol
