Hi Maria❤ Great picks! You got me very curious and wanting to buy Guess 1981, and Donna (I love the flask type bottle as well). I'm still hunting for lemon centric fragrances. "Lemon Tart" was nauseating, literally. Glad I sampled it. My go to is VERSACE THE DREAMER. The bottle is great, as the sprayer is in the permanent cap. It's unisex, light and sweet, clean, but not fresh laundry scent. **Your Mom may like it and tolerate it........ from a fellow (daily) migraneur.** It's super affordable too.

I kind of think that you would enjoy Donna...Guess 1981 indigo to me is quite a clean fragrance but it is light.

Yes, for sure! some of the middle eastern brands are also excellent...there are lattafa, al haramain & Afnan...all have excellent offerings...I'm doing a video soon about them.

As always, great choices. Brazilian Crush Cheirosa '62 is a body spray that performas like an EDP. It is a super gourmand fragrance that works so well in the heat. I also really like Jeanne Lanvin EDP It is $20-30 and is a juicy fresh blackberry scent that is a really good alternative to the now expensive and hard to find Gucci II.

Thanks for sharing =) the Donna fragrance seems so good =). One I've tried who's non expensive and ideal for summer is éclat d'arpège from lanvin. Under 20 € last 6h on skin. Clean floral scent. Korres also has super great scents under 30 € if they're on sales. In Europe, we also have okaia fragrances not expensive at all onder 40 € for 100. I got mine on sales, and I was 20€. I also need to try Middle Eastern perfumes some brand are so affordable.

I’m sorry if I keep saying this but I really want people to realize that Lalique le parfum with the red tassel is such a good fragrance that is always seriously discounted. I’m wearing it today actually. I had to go to court and I wanted something classy and inoffensive. Have you tried it?

I'm going to pull the trigger on the 1981 Indigo soon. Been on the fence for too long about it. I'm ready for Fall fragrances already, though, LOL. Summer is my most difficult season and because we homestead and raise chickens and such, I spend a lot of time outside in the heat so I guess I do need the Indigo-lately my go-to daily wear for hot days has been Tommy Bahama for Her, but won't repurchase when it's empty. Can it just be Fall already? 🥺 I want coffee and caramel! ~Cynthia

Maria, stopping back by to say I did get Guess 1981 Indigo and wanted to give you my thoughts on that. I was hoping the fig would be more forward, but the first scent I get is wine. I'm not really a fan of the smell of wine, can't stand the taste of it, but fig I grew up loving, eating them off the bush, my parents making fig preserves, etc. I kept trying it and I like the drydown a bit better than the initial notes, but then I had an idea to layer it over B&BW Waikiki Beach Coconut and voila! That hits the spot! It tones down the sharp, sour wine blast I didn't care for and makes it creamier so it's very wearable for me now. I'll keep wearing them together the rest of the summer. I did finish the entire 3 oz bottle of Tommy Bahama for Her.
