Yeah for Top 40 pop boppers. Always too gimmicky for my taste, and this cover absolutely had zero soul. Totally flat, and none of the power Lennon gave it.

That’s ok…Lennon and McCartney love/d them, Elvis loved them, Fats Domino loved them, Billy Corrigsn loves to play with them, David Grohl is inspired by them, Kurt Cobain wanted to be them, and AC/DC especially Bon and Angus loved to jam with them and they were also great friends…so us Top 40 boppers are in great company🤘🔥🖤

I used to so respect this band. Then they hired a WAY inferior drummer after Bun E. was gone. NOW, they are to perform wo Rick Neilson instead of doing the right thing and postponing shows. Ridiculous. At least we have these memories.

@@chadpittman3025 I wasn't trying to imply you felt the same, I've just had a certain way of feeling about them since the early 80's. MTV didn't help them at all in my opinion. In particular it's the guitar player with the crazy guitars, and the whining voice of "I want you to want me" that's just grates on a nerve of mine. Just personal taste.
