@@chrischampagne4307 - After SGT. PEPPER LIVE came out, the band was offered a 100 show stint in Vegas to do that act. Tom, Rick and Robin proposed a 50 show booking, after which Bun E. got shitty. Robin didn't want to up-root his family, and have one of his kids put in to a new school, etc. Bun E. didn't like that reason not to do it, and said so. Robin couldn't believe that, after almost 40 years, Carlos wouldn't honor that. On top of that, after Cheap Trick got "incorporated" on the ROCKFORD album, Carlos wanted his name on composer credits, wanted final say on concert promotion, set lists, who ran sound, who ran the lighting, etc., etc., etc. After this latest jab, Robin told Rick, "he goes or I do," so...bye bye Bun E. And that's fine, Dax does a fine job and sounds just as good.

Still kicking and making great records! They said they are too dumb to quit and so happy they haven't. Of the 3 bands I picked in the early 80's 2 of them are still aggressively recording to this day. I had at a very young age an ear for greatness. I wasn't any kind of critic because I was a listener. I was right at 14. Back then you could choose from many, Motley Crue etc. My ears were heavily attracted to Trick early and it's never stopped. I like the deep tracks in the catalog that are obscure and don't really listen to The Greatest Hits stuff anymore although I love them too.
