@@dannycasson1551it's because there's hair metal in the title video. Cheap tricks started out of the modern rock band 1977 their first record further 15 years ahead of the Curve. NICE!! Mr Robin Zander might have to be in my Top 10 favorite male singers and front man!! Went to the KISS Love Gun concert and Cheap Trick opened. Never heard of them. Seen their amps with torn speaker cloths and shouted "WHAT KIND OF A CHEAP TRICK is this"?? Thinking I was clever. They blew me away and I went and bought the album for that tour IN COLOR and IN BLACK AND WHITE!! Great Reaction and Awesome Channel! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎

Their record company had "The Flame" and "Look Away" that outside writers had written. They told CT that they had to record one for their next album and gave them first choice. Whichever song they didn't pick would be given to Chicago. Both songs went to number 1.

I love how much you luv this song Angela and how much it obviously moved you as it does who all who truly gets the message. This song is especially tough for me to hear but it is like a haunting pull and I can't turn away from listening to it when I hear those first few notes and into. This song came out right about the time I had just gone through a very tough and energy draining breakup. But even after that this song came on right after my family had discovered my 1st nehpew had been brutally murdered here in Texas shot 6 times and stabbed 14 times as he tried to run to escape to save his life. I went to the place where a florist had discovered his body laying in the hot 110 Texas sun for 3 days undiscovered and was unrecognizable when they tried to identify him. Now this song brings me to a place like none other in my life. One major emotional crushing event is hard enough to recover from but 2 completely heart shattering is almost more to bare for the mear human. I love your singing voice thanks and God Bless🤠

This song and Cheap Trick were staples during my early days (the 80's). I was a "slacker" in high school and had no career goal or choices really after graduating (1985). I worked at a restaurant for nearly 10 years after high school and met some really amazing people who were pretty much in the same situation I found myself in. We didn't know what we wanted to do with our lives but we worked hard to pay our bills and partied after work on a nightly basis. This song was one of many that made us coworkers just a bit closer after a night of work and partying. I miss all of those wonderful friends I was fortunate to get to know during that time. For whatever reason, this song and perhaps the "sadness feel" to it always makes me think of those times with my restaurant friends. Many heartbreaks along the way of course but I still look at those times as the best times in my life and I'd go back to that in a second.

Cheap Trick is something special, because they have always been an underdog band. That their first few albums got little traction in America, but they blew Japan away so hard that the album of that concert and a single from it, "I Want You to Want Me," is what made the US pay attention finally. And after making more singles and albums after that which still only got so far, they took a song they didn't even really want, and put so much emotion into it that it finally took them to Number One. Haven't had time to look back to see if you've reacted to them before, but just in case, I'll vouch for "She's Tight," "If You Want My Love," "Tonight It's You," "Surrender," and "Southern Girls."

🤘😎🤘 Cool Reaction. I was 15 years-old old when this song came out. Just FYI... Cheap Trick is not a hair band. Hair band is actually an insult created by 1990s radio DJs to describe 1980s Metal bands. Especially the Glam Metal bands like Poison, Faster Pussycat, L.A. Guns, Kix and Vixen. Cheap Trick is not Metal. Although, Metal musicians of all Metal genres hold Cheap Trick in high esteem.
