There’s really nothing as good as citrol , but it is strong and like you did needs to be flushed well. Glad you did this video I was skeptical on that bug and tar remover , thanks for shedding some light on it.

I was cleaning my stove top using the “Easy Off” just the other day thinking the same thing haha

Oven cleaner is very bad for the enviroment. Citrol will work on anything petroleum or animal fat based. Also, citrol removes gum, perm marker and a host of other things easily.

@@dougsmith7031 The environment has been here for billions of years. Oven cleaner is produced with ingredients found in the environment. Using oven cleaner returns it to the environment. The environment will still be here a few more billion years after man is extinct. Oven cleaner is strong sodium hydroxide and will remove virtually anything at a fraction of the cost of overpriced Citrol.

@@ericw751 Don't spray it on the paint. I would only be applying a tiny dab of oven cleaner to a microfiber cloth and then rubbing it into a spot of stubborn road tar until it comes off. I would rinse immediately afterward. The same exact process using Citrol. Easy Off oven cleaner comes in Heavy Duty formula and a Fume Free formula that is about half the strength of the heavy.

You have to wash after using any bug and tar remover very thoroughly

Why did it ruing your paint and glass and not everyone else's? I have detailing business I've had for 8 years now as of 2024. Every single car we do, we need to remove bugs. We use Citrol. So, again, explain why your paint is different. LOL.
