Yakpak, I'd love to see you do a Creek Challenge with a $250 budget per person. A 1v1v1v1 with a twist. After everyone is at the spot, everyone puts the gear they bought on the ground and then you switch it up, 4th swaps with 2nd and 3rd swaps with first this way no one is using what they actually purchased. Then who ever catches the most legal fish wins or do most weight even. I love that you guys give a lot of this gear to your fans, one day maybe I'll be that lucky one

Actually bought a combo last night from academy for 100. They had the Lews hack attack reels for very cheap and I paired it with their rod brand, h20x. It’ll be one of my many crank bait setups. It’s medium moderate action.

FYI That Hack Attack reel is The KVD Reel. It's Aluminum frame and is one of the best reels money can buy. I have 2 of them and I prefer them over all the rest of my reels. Buttery smooth and cast a mile with ease.

If norm had gotten an ugly stick or a shakespeare the rod wouldn't have snapped. I've never had a shakespeare or an ugly stick break. Abu, quantum, shimano, daiwa are so flippin fragile! I wanna see em review the white and blue shakespeare excursion rods for 22.36 at walmart. More limber, probably not quite as clear at communicating the feel as the expensive ones. They are one piece and come in casting or spinning. Add in the ozark trail otx 3000 spinning reel or ozark trail pro baitcast reel and for around 50 dollars you got a tough, durable, reliable combo
