I have made a few hundred of those over the years with a router jig, but your way is not something I thought about. So thanks

Very cool. I actually started thinking about a router jig first, but then figured this may be easier. Thanks for watching! 😁

Walnut back, Maple front, the back board 6 x 36 and have 2 or 3 of the towel holder on the face. Space the holders so they clear a space for hanging, studs are 16 in c to c. Finish the wood without changing the tone. Dave & The Girls

That would be an amazing contrast!! If you make this, you'll have to share how it looks! Thanks for watching!

Dude, that is a great video and design. Simple yet nice. The Wife and I have a festival that we're going to in about 2 months and that is going to be one of my items. Now, if I could only understand what you're (out, for example) and get you using your right hand..... I'm just playing, I have several lefties in my life including The Wife and my daughter, and they're highly intelligent and very creative. Thank you again!

Thank you so much, planning more of them going forward as they're also fun to make. They also give me reference if I forget how I made the project down the road 😆. Thanks for watching!

Is your miter saw a 10 inch or 12 inch?
@TimberDesigns3 ай бұрын
It's a 12 inch, but a 10 inch will do well also 😁. Thanks for watching!

@@TimberDesigns Thanks, I have a 12 inch Dewalt… it just looked different when I made one

My jig brings the piece out 2 inches as well, just placement of the blade could be different.

The screws that will hold it to the wall must have a chrome or satin nickel finish, to match the other items in the bathroom. Dave & The Girls

Absolutely, unless you hang these with some double sided tape, in which case there's no need for screws. You can also use a keyhole router bit on the back side to create a screw head slot so you don't see the screw, although if doing this I recommend at least two of them to keep the hanger straight, and they must be snug to the piece 😁
