Denim jackets with decorative patches all over them were all the rage. In a way, they were kind of like the tattoos of the day - the patches were a form of art reflecting what people liked or what was important to them much like people put tattoos all over their bodies now as art and a form of self-expression. It was just removable. 😉 I was just a young lass, but my mom bought me a more fitted denim jacket that she ended up sewing different patches on. I'm not sure where they all came from, but I remember picking one out that had a pithy saying about cats. The pièce de résistance was a large patch centered on the back that my mother hand embroidered with a symbol of my zodiac sign. I think I still have that patch. She removed that particular one after I outgrew the jacket. It was really a beautiful piece of handwork and artistry.

I did rain boots for 3of my grands about 5 years ago. I put candy in one boot. Then the other had an umbrella and non food items. They loved it.

Billie shaving cream is awesome, and I love the razor sticks to the wall. Keeps the mess of laying it on the tub. I love the glow in the dark one, Moonbeam. Great haul as always. Everything at my store is still 1.25 except glasses ( which I would never buy at DT anyways).

I went to Dollar Tree today. I spent close to $100. You might say I did a "cart challenge." 😉 My DT doesn't have everything yours did, but I obviously still found things to buy. One thing I was excited about was a $5 bright pink gingham wreath with colorful styrofoam eggs scattered around it. It's adorable. They also had them in blue. I can't bring myself to buy the cosmetics and soaps made in China, or the genetically modified and/or made in China candies. My Home Goods had some nice items, but nothing like what they have in the Dallas area. I had to use a lot of restraint not to buy cute mugs. If I go back, and the ones I liked are still there, there's a good chance they will come home with me. I did see a horse picture in a gold frame that looked like it belonged in your home. 🙂

I didn't see that at my store, but maybe I missed it. Seeing it in the video, I was thinking that tulip garland would look really cute on a spring-themed decorated tree for people who like to keep a seasonal "Christmas" type tree up year round and switch it out for the seasons. A white tree with spring colors and clear or pastel multicolored lights and the tulip garland - that would be so pretty! ⚘💐⚘

I wonder if they'll get any takers. I guess if people don't know about or shop at DT, or if they missed something in their store that they really liked, they might pay the jacked up price. A couple of years ago, Dollar Tree had some sort of thing I wanted to pick up. I don't even remember what it was now, but the store clerk said someone had come in and bought up every piece they had. I was so disappointed. I just wanted one. I think I could have ordered it online, but then I would have had to order in bulk, and it would have been more product and expense than I wanted. The person who bought all of that item was probably reselling on eBay or somewhere else too.

Need the moisterizing cream, I do like that it is sealed. That Hey Humans some people made a stink about, comes without a seal and is so liquidy. I personally don't like it. They could not give it to me for free. The packaging is pretty, but that is it.
