Nice review. These clip-on guitar pickup is infact just 1-2 piezo pickups slapped into a case that gives the impression of individual pickups for various guitar strings, while in fact it acts like a single mic. If you are someone who plays and sings at the same time, or you have stage monitors (or other speakers) pointing in the direction of this pickup, it'd pick it all up and make the sound very muddy. This is just usable for practise in small rooms with entry level amps pointing away, where you don't depend on monitors. In fact, the pickups (under saddle, under bridge) which are single piezo element based suffer from similar issues but being under bridge, they are lesser prone to ambient sound, and the more expensive piezo elements have better definition/clarity. For better clarity you need to go for ones what also have a high-definition mic built-in, and ability to mix the sources... perhaps one of the best combination on live/stage playing setup, unless you have some excellent mics.

The pickup makes the guitar sound more like an electric guitar. I guess there is a difference between a peizo pickup and a magnetic coil pickup when used in an acoustic guitar

yes it can be installed on f310 or any other acoustic guitar..pickup doesn't affect the natural and open sound of the guitar..you need to have a guitar repair guy in your city..pickups come in a lot of variety..from 1000-5000 range..
