Hey! Khao San is not a bad option. You can take this boat ride from there as well. Sathon area is good too. If you are planning to take this boat tour then Sathon and khao san both are good options!

Hi! You can show the ticket barcode at the counters. They have scanners there. Not sure what you mean by how to come back since you will have your own transport. There is no local transport in Krabi. They red colour songthaew that you can rent like a public tuk tuk. You will find them everywhere. You can easily take taxis as well but Grab doesn’t work in Krabi. Grab is good to use in Phuket, Bangkok and Chiang Mai!

China town is for night market, not a day time. You must visit again in the evening about 18:30. You have to at the right place and right time. It is too hot in the day time in china town and nothing much going on. Day time you must go somewhere else first, then come to China town in the evening. The same thing for boat tour, you should take the boat tour in the evening. You should consider about the weather in SE Asian Countries and adjust your plan accordingly. There are many places to visit during the day, I would say that you have very bad schedule.

It is too hot to take a Sight seeing boat that has no roof cover. Local usually try to avoid that. 4 PM is still hot. After 5 PM. There is less sun light, so it is better to enjoy the view. In the evening some temples start to turn on the light so you may have nice photos.
