Great video, I found out that this brand lineup is the same resolution and almost the same projector. The only difference between most of them is the ansi lumens and features. Xiamoi looks sharper and more detailed but I can only say that because I'm looking at them side by side. That being said I doubt I would complain if I where watching the Epson and wouldn't know what I missing. I'm currently using a groview 9500l which is pretty good actually. After watching this video I think I'm going to look for a projector similar to this one. Though I would like the Epson BrightLink 696Ui. It looks like the same projector as the one in this video, except it is 1080p. I really like the idea of having a short throw. Some body is always walking in front of or bumping into my current projector. Thanks for the video, it has been very helpful.

Welcome to channel. This sort of cheap second hand 720 projectors are less than 100" focus capable . Specially this model is max 92 if you except little blur max 100" if you are looking bigger you have to buy long throw projector

it can go up to 90 inches and after that everything becomes quite fast blury because ultra short throw lenses gets wide very fast. This projector is only 720P expecting bigger image wont bebe justice to this device .Many of the new expensive ultra short throw projectors can only create upto max 150" can many brand s declare 130" max. Considering all these this is acceptable. But if you need larger images I recomment long or regular throw projectors

Thanks for the awesome video! I have three questions. Is there a substantial difference between the EB-685W and EB-685Wi?? I have found someone selling one but the name does not have the "i" in it. Another question is, I am limited for space in my setup. The more expensive projectors let me get real close to the wall to get a 70-80 inch screen. Is this projector able to project an 80 inch screen without the image being too high from its base? Or in other words, if it's a certain distance away to get an 80inch image, how high is the bottom of the image from the base of the projector? The projector screen is so uneven that it distorts the image. Something like this is unacceptable even for a long throw projection, let alone for an ultra short throw projection where you see a tiniest imperfection. Get a fixed projection screen, these pull downs are not for home use or home cinema use, they are used for classrooms and conference rooms where image quality is not crucial and priority. My ALR screen is about to come for use and for the long throw I will use this or wall I made probably arround 10 tutorails for different screen.
