I use the Milwaukee M18 grease gun. I’ve greased machines and heavy equipment for 32 years with the old grease gun. I save so much time with the Milwaukee. I don’t stop greasing when I feel resistance I keep pumping to push out the old grease because old grease is contaminated. Congratulations on the new machine, she’s a beauty.

Battery powered grease gun has been the best investment I've made, makes greasing a breeze. I grease my machines as part of the end of day clean up. Great video!

Grease is the cheapest form of maintenance, also gives you time to look over your machine as you’re greasing 👍🏻

There is always something interesting to be found in your impartial reviews. Having never heard of an item in this article, it would have been very helpful if you could have put a link where such may be purchased. Other people seem to make few bob from posting links to the likes of Amazon, where i just happened to find the G coupler.

How do you grease the Slew Pinion and Ring Gear Teeth in the JCB 18z-1 (Not the Slew Ring Bearing). The procedure in the manual seems laborious given an otherwise well thought out machine. The local dealers are unable to help. Any advise would be appreciated. I really enjoy your channel content.

Cant say I have had to do it yet. My machine hasn't reached the hours. But its never easy on those smaller machines - I suspect many don't bother sadly.

Grease is definitely cheaper than bushings! How do you feel about the jcb bushings? They claim it’s a 500hr grease interval. I’d grease it every tank of fuel like I do all my excavators. But was just wondering what think on it.

They have done extensive testing to make the 500hr claim - Ive seen how they do it in person - even have a bush sat on my desk I was given that day! However, as an owner operator - it cant help to grease it occasionally, I just feel I cant leave it for 500hrs. So my 18z I tend to do once a week instead of every day like my other machines. Seems to be holding up ok so far but its only after 3000hrs we will really know.
