'Just a heads up. I'm not sure if everyone understands the title. The 'Big Tent' is not at the RTR. It is near the RTR. The RTR is confined to the BLM land with a few central meeting areas. The RTR is pretty much just everyone's rigs, a few meeting areas (where people bring their own folding chairs if they'd like to attend the free workshops, etc), a few campfire pits plus a few 'bathroom' tents. The town nearby, Quartzsite has a lot going on. One thing is the 'Big Tent.' The RTR is a good ways away from the town. I hope this helps.

I know my " Gettin the hell outa here date is a but this has been a subconscious focus before Bob, Jamie, KC, Sue Ann and others has made it cool to consider. My tiny trailer build is coming along nicely. I look foward to meeting and sharing with every nomad I meet. My name is RT Henson. AKA: The Moon Dog. My 80 lb good boy that is my partner in this adventure, I named Ham Bone. Im a jack of all trades and a master of none. I hope to be able to help many but truly befriend a few. 2020 RTR is unrealistic for me at this point but 2021, look out, hear we come. Hello everyone.

The Yamaha genset price was very good. I'd go with a Honda though. Honda can handle starting current overload much better than a Yamaha. My Honda EU2000i can run my roof AC just fine while a Yamaha 2000 goes into overload when compressor cycles. BTW, a new Honda EU2000i can be bought online every day for $949, with free shipping and no sales tax. Also, the LED lights salesman was full of it. You can dim LEDs without affecting it's life expectancy. Dimmable LED requires a different driver circuit which most likely costs more.

Lynsey Wise, the RTR is on BLM land in Quartzsite but it has nothing to do with the Big Tent that is held in Quartzsite every year. Bob schedules the RTR so the last weekend is held when the Big Tent starts their week. 2 separate events.

You can dim led's with PWM or pulse width modulation. Its flickering a light at high speeds where it looks dim. If you flicker lights at 40 flashes per second, you can temporary relieve the effects of Alzheimer... in mice at least.

I really want to come to the RTR this year, and bring a friend that's trying to figure out what to do with her life now that her youngest child is 18 and ready to move out. Where do I find the RTR dates for 2017?
@monnaprovost72946 жыл бұрын
Elaine Farr, 2017 is over. 2018 just started Jan 11 and ends Jan 21. At the end is a 3 day meetup just for women. Next year 2019 will be about the same time in Jan. Just follow Bob Wells’ YT channel CheapRVLiving.

The 'Big Tent' is not a part of the RTR. I posted this comment elsewhere, because I figured some folks might be confused by the title. "'Just a heads up. I'm not sure if everyone understands the title. The 'Big Tent' is not at the RTR. It is near the RTR. The RTR is confined to the BLM land with a few central meeting areas. Hi Bob. Glad to see all your videos, they are so informative. Is there an RTR on the East Coast? I really do not go very far and I live in Florida
@martywilsonlife7 жыл бұрын
So far, I think there's only the one in Quartzsite. I suspect he won't be doing another one elsewhere. It's somewhat overwhelming for an introvert as it is.
@phoenixvanlife16867 жыл бұрын
I know the RTR is Bob's own event, but I have wondered similarly about whether there was an RV sales and Big Tent event that happens on the east coast or is Quartzite AZ the only place that does this sort of event with vendors and employers?
@martywilsonlife7 жыл бұрын
Well, the commercial 'Big Tent' is simply a business in Quartzsite. I have no clue if something like that is going on around the country. I suspect the critical mass of 'snowbirds' might make it more feasible for a place like Quartzsite.
