Didn't work for me. Dropped 100 points from 2750 to 2650. Dewgong is everywhere. Azu is everywhere. Corsola is everywhere. There's plenty of Talons and Serperiors around too. A lot of the time, there'll be two of those on the same team, so Wiggly just has too much work to do. Plus you'll have to go down shields if you wanna clear these bulky water monsters or Serperior from the field, and then you've got Golurk shieldless where it melts in neutral matchups. Even Drapion up energy can wreck with AT. Too many holes against common meta imo.

I literally built my shadow golurk a couple hours ago, before watching this, and only single moved. I went 8-2 in my first 2 sets so far

@ wasn’t necessarily my move of choice but shadow golurk was given earth power when I removed frustration. Fast move is mud-slap. Definitely surprises Clodsire 🤣

I love my shadow golurk so much. I had a really good PVP one built before he became good last season so I try to use him as much as I can. I used to do Mandibuzz, toxapex, and golurk

16-4? At 1800 I switched to this team and immediately started getting poison leads with water swaps. I really don’t understand why I get countered so much in this game. I’m now busted down to 1600 with zero wins with this team.

Ran a similar team this entire week with Charjabug on the lead. Honestly, I had similar success as this one. Really helps with fliers on the lead or in the back.

Because it's a double Ground team, you bait out their counter to Ground with Marowak safe swap and then you use Golurk to close it out

I used a similar team like 2 weeks ago. But instead of marowak I used gastro. First set I went 5-0 2nd set I went 2-5. I tan into 2 venusaur and 2 jumpluff in that set

I think in the current meta, the only Pokemon that feels borderline broken is Kanto Marowak. Never thought I'd see the day. Granted, many other Pokemon are strong, like Shadow Gatr, Talon or Morpeko - but Marowak is the only one where I feel it's "too strong" instead of "strong."

I see s-drapion in 4 out 5 games every set. It is also one of the most used in play pokemon tournaments. I think a poison sting neff would be good, and I can also see clodsire being op in a meta with less ground. Mud-slap and astonish should also be nerfed.
