In the Philippines & in other countries in Asia regardless of whether you are a boyfriend or a husband, you need to really show that you are able to show her & her family that you are able to secure her needs financially and also the stability even if she is an independent lady it is one of the things that her family & friends will look from you because if you cannot provide her that and think of her as your housewife or a carer or you don't do the responsibilities that you have to do in a relationship and you only used her for sex they will oppose your relationship with her. They have an impression that you cannot give her future nor you cannot give the emotional stability she needs. If you wanted to pursue an Asian women for relationship and marriage, you need to accept the fact that aside from love and respect, you need to provide stability and security for her. There is also a big difference to a lady who only uses your money for her luxuries and those who used your money to invest for her and love ones future so you have to choose wisely and go for someone with goals in life.

Anyone who need money can start out with the purest heart, but once they start receiving funds from another person, the emotional connection is no longer reinforced. I hesitate to say you should never give someone cash, but when you do, they have every incentive to pretend to care about you. Now, some people don't care about romantic love. Certainly entire cultures revolve around mutual support and the compassion evolves from there. I'm just not sure how you recognize when you are being used in a long distance relationship. Thats more than enough. My wife used to be OFW in Taiwan before she met me. I was lucky that she had been home for about a year from her last contract as dating and meeting someone that is currently OFW can be a real PITA, and not recommended. Chances are even if you fly to where she is working, she won't have time to see you. Certainly not time enough to take off for a couple weeks alone so you can get to know each other. Anyway shes the kind of girl that used to work hard and send 20,000 peso home to her family every month, so she knows what its like. When she got home she used to just sell a little street food in front of her house. She would get up every morning at 4AM and go to the market via Jeep and load up on supplies. Eggs for kwek kwek, fish ball, squid ball, longganisa, stuff for halo halo. After we filed our visa, I asked her about the numbers of all that and she said she spent about 1000 peso every day in raw materials and it turned into maybe 250 p profit, sometimes more or less. So for $5 a day I didn't want her risking traffic, pollution, dark streets, etc. I needed her safe for when I came back to get her. So I gave her about 1500p a week to stay safe. Plus money for visa expenses such as NBI, etc when they came up. My money is for my family and we planned on getting married and having kids and kids are expensive, so she knew I was preserving money for OUR family. Most people in the province dont make 15000 peso a month, thats a factory job with a lot of overtime, and that usually means long hours and long hours spent on busses to get there too. I mean yea $300 is a cheap car payment so its nothing to us westerners but hey if you want to consider your girlfriend your cheap ride, go for it. Its not a good practice. Not if you want to keep her real. A good filipina will KEEP you from spending too much money, thats how you know if shes serious about your future and hers.

Yikes, lotsa hate in the comments. Reine rarely generalizes. If you watch her dating videos, you'll quickly realize that you're seeing HER priorities and interests. Some things may apply to others, some things may not. The ones that do will be more likely to apply to other 18-ish year old girls than they are to apply to women who have finished their education, are pursuing a career, and are standing on their own feet financially. Grain of salt required. 🙂 If she'd said, "This is what things cost if you're asked for them and choose to pay for them," which is probably what she intended this video to show, then things would have gone differently in the comments. Daisy's a bit older and would probably have specified this because she can more easily take her audience's perspective and get ahead of likely objections. She's opening herself to comments and criticism by anyone who wants to comment or criticize her by doing these videos. She does them in a second language, which she speaks about as well as I speak the other languages I've learned: clearly, but not necessarily with a great deal of nuance. In my world, these are things to support with a kind word and a thumbs-up.

Interesting,but in almost all of Europe,except for Switzerland,Norway,or tiny countries like Luxembourg or Monaco,the cost is practically the same, with slightly cheaper phone load and internet, having a baby costs 0, groceries, hotels, renting it depends on what,when and where you choose ( same as there), studying at a public university is way cheaper to almost free. So, I sincerely can't see the deal since salaries here are better, you get 15 to 30 days of paid holidays in office jobs,up to 2 months for school employees.
