I did get feedback once that the player I reported was banned. It was a simple notification in the lobby I think. I may also have included a "thank you" but I'm not sure.

This is not just in gaming, it is the same in sports. A lot of the people who go cycling, play tennis or other sports are not getting the fun only from improving. It can be fun to just cycle or run a distance or go on the tennis court and just play the game, try to win and know you never will be able to be competitive this way.

I've gotten about 6 chicken dinners when I played pubg, the most kills I ever got was 6 and in 3 of the games, I won with 3 or less kills. I'm not a good player by any means, I feel like in all of those games, I was just playing with people who had worse tactics. Honestly I've never understood how people get pissed at how someone plays the game. If the game allows someone to be sneaky, a run and gun player shouldn't get pissed about getting killed by them. This goes for Battlefield also, people don't respect creative plays and they seem to want a civil war shootout. Say what you want, but someone in their 40s doesn't have the reflexes of a teenager.

LOL, this means "someone in his 70's" even has less reflexes. I know, sadly. But using a good PC does help, a little. :-) Still suck at it, but still enjoy the game. BTW I love the bots, they make me feel better. :-)

A cheater I reported last night was permanently banned. I got the notice when I started PUBG a few minutes ago. I heard a motorbike go by, then silence. Then BAM, I'm dead from a headshot from a Kar98. I almost jumped out of my seat. Death cam showed him running and turning left and firing. I didn't even see myself in the death cam. No way did he have a line of sight on me to enable him to instantly line up on me.

Re thoughts on Apex..I play like that on PUBG. I don't go for huge kill counts..most my solo wins are single kill dinners. I like playing "stealthy". It's how I personally think actually professional soliders would act if this was real world scenario.

@@pravesh736 Does it matter? Just because some people decide that they need to be engaged in combat 95% of the game doesn't meant that others can't find enjoyment in strategy and stealth tactics. I play whichever way suits the situation I'm in. Being told I have to go face tank other teams to be playing the 'correct' way is annoying. I'm not doing that if my teammates have died and I'm the last one alive and I'm pretty sure there are others with teammates alive around me. I'd rather pick off one of the teammates then have a 1v1 than a 1v2/3/4.

Squads that drop School/apartments on Erangel or Bootcamp on Sanhok don't deserve anyone's help. Nor the ones that attract everyone with crappy attempts on sniping someone - shoot to kill, not to annoy and attract more enemies. Going lone wolf in survivor or Rambo mode is more enjoyable.

I once won a PUBG game with no kills. Military base ending, landed there from start and was pinned by a few players. I laid on the ground and holy crap everything went my way. Wish I made a vid of it.

I did once too. All my teammates got killed trying to play solo. In the end, there was only 1 full squad with snipers & everything and me with some stupid guns. I didn't know where they were, I was looking for them from inside the circle. Bit these idiots were looking for me outside the circle for some reason with a car. Finally, I saw them driving towards me & they were in the blue & I thought if I attack now when they are hurt from the blue I may win. I just scoped in to take a shot & I saw 'winner winner chicken winner'. They all died to the zone. It was the most irritating win in my life but also the funniest.

Just chilling playing the game and not grinding to perfection was exactly why I played PUBG. I loved the stealthy and evasion aspects of the game and I absolutely suck at shooting in games and irl due to bad hand eye coordination and dyslexia. Anyhow being a healthcare worker playing a try-not-to- get murdered game was strangely a way for me to unwind after a day of dealing with COVID madness at work every day. And yes even playing that way I still managed to win a few games.

Cheaters are the greatest losers! Persons that cheats knows they are weak and they are going to lose. They dont believe themselves, otherwise they would practice until they become good but instead, they cheat and with that, no matter what happen in the game, they know they didn't really win. this is just a 24hour temp ban. it means that bluehole couldnt detect any suspicious program running at the background, it just means that the suspect received a bunch of players reports. So it doesnt necessary mean he was cheating (although i do agree that he was cheating). a perm ban shows a different message: player removed from the game for using restricted program

Hiding is absolutely essential for certain play styles. Particularly snipers. You can’t just charge in against a team of 3-4 people by yourself with a sniper rifle. You have to pick them off with well placed shots from a hidden position. People who say you have to engage in close combat fights in the open to get better just want to make it easier for themselves.

It sounds very nice on the surface but when you think about it: You try to play, your game gets ruined by a cheater, now you spend some time trying to figure out if he was cheating, then report then hope he gets banned. About the apex comment: yes you do improve by hiding; +10 stealth. No in all seriousness, i usually play very aggressive because you have more fun in the same amount of time, but if people want to feel good and get a win for once theres nothing wrong with that. Battle royales are probably the worst game to play when it comes to reward because most players never got a win once (at least with low hours). Whereas csgo you win 50% of the games etc.

I was one of those players your were talking in your video, not playing hardcore or try hard mode, just for Fun and not on a regular base. A year ago I've uninstalled PUBG because I got constantly matched against lvl 500 SemiPros or People who are way better than me or cheating. As a Common low Level Player (dunno my Level tbh.) with just basic skills it is very difficult to recognize the difference between a Semipro playing with his 8th Account, a better Player same on your Level or a Cheater. A good Matchmaking could be a solution, but it is not for PUBG. Never has been. IMHO: you can play the game as SemiPro, Tryhard or skilled Player, but not just for having fun.

On console cronus max is unbannable . It has zero recoil and aim assist. It's gotten so bad you will encounter it every single game. I've quit playing cause of cheaters on console.

I dont think the cheat was off.. it seems it only has a small bubble to snap to.. if u see it again u will notice that he aims really porly and the recoil is normal, but snaps as it gets a but closer.

I once won a squad match as the other squad, with two members, got banned right before the final shoot out. My remaining squadmember still had to kill the one of them still alive. The other got killed by the blue.
