We got new tactics from the cheaters, they will load into a raid with a cheater who will talk to their buddies and call out your position. This cheater will never get caught as they will not kill you so you cant report them. So to be honest the games kinda done dude unless BSG can sort something out. what we need is for BSG to check who a player is raiding with and ban the squad for cheating. Cheater Squads is the thing to avoid detection. All you need is one player in the team who runs the cheat software.

Best way to Escape from Cheaters is to play SPT. Best decision I have ever made and I am never going back to the online version. At least I don´t feel I am wasting my time anymore.

@@GAWD_Y Ah, yes... the pvp, where you get "head,eyes" from a 9 mm bullet going through a wall, ESP, loot vacuumers and so on. On a serious note, I know what you mean, I do miss those legit pvp moments when you actually get satisfying kills or good fights... but overall I sadly don't feel it is worth it, and especially not respectful to your time. Also no matching queues in SPT is refreshing.

my buddy i play with sucks at the game, we all get killed a lot and try to learn from his mistakes- but since he heard there is a cheating problem he blames every death on cheaters. So he reports every single death regardless. I told him the same reasons you laid out here not to do that unless he really things so, he says he doesnt care he reports them anyways (probably because he thinks the other guy will get in trouble even if hes not cheating). Well I explained to him it is unnecessary and to focus on getting better, not everyone is a cheater etc. Then at the end of the month he gets a FLOOD of cheat reports in his inbox- i guess im the dumbass then.

Part of the possible problem is that BSG gets revenue every time a cheater buys a new account. So they benefit from the cheat/get banned/buy new account cycle…

How to deal with cheaters? Simple don’t play a game ruined by them, let the game die then come back when the problem is better, if it persists gg. Main reason i gave up with fos games to many hackers

the way they play. The shots, stats, gear. Everything helps you guess accurately.

@@SwissMarksman When tens of thousands get banned at a time, there is a major problem with not knowing how the other player killed you. Some experienced players estimate there is over a 50% chance you die to a cheater. Just FYI.

Don’t think it’s so fair to blame the devs always. Fighting cheaters is just very hard, this game wasn’t built for it from day 1.

It is also not good practice to ban individuals as soon as they are caught. Ban waves with some level of spacing across multiple updates are more effective as they confuse the hack developers more. Not copium, just facts.

I mean it makes sense to blame them. Tarkov is the slowest shooter survival game with a lot of risk. Spending 20 mins kitting up and loading into raid to die to a cheater feels a million times worse then joining a cod lobby with a cheater bc you can exit out and join another game in 30 seconds. Cheaters are already bad and if it continues to get worse where there are multiple people in every lobby blatantly cheating, the only people who will play are other cheaters. Imagine if csgo had 4 people a game cheating… the game would be impossible to play. Do you think you would be saying to them “can’t blame the devs, just unfortunate there are cheaters”. Bsg needs to understand that if they don’t figure something out for cheaters then they are gunna have a failed game because of it before the game even launches

I die to cheaters every time I step foot into a live wipe. I play single-player now because of it. so much more fun for me and I'm actually able to put time into learning a map and work on gunplay without getting 1 tapped to the head from 400m away to a pscav with a fuckin aks74u using aimbot lol.
