They need to just make an example of a few of them. Take them to court, make it all public how much the life of a cheater sucks after they have been sued and watch how many people will back out of it. There's clearly no consequence if all these people just make new accounts after being banned.

They can only take legal action if they're actively selling the cheats, not just using them. The cheater that killed peterbot was a very well known seller and couldve been given a cease and desist, but it takes time to obtain them. Recently another well known cheat seller, Smelo who owns VMX, was served with a cease and desist.

The way the solve the need to ban wave (I.e getting sample size) is soft ban cheaters until full ban. Soft ban would be like giving them forced delay queue in tournaments and match make them in other lobbies to only bots and other cheaters. Basically a penalty box.

I think the first thing that could be done is limiting the account age to compete in any tournament. If the account is less than a year old it cannot queue up. As long as people can create an account and cheat that day in the tournament it will never end.

I play in OCE Epic don't even care about cheaters in our region. But seeing these 2 flops in the lobby with Clix laughing like that makes me want to box them up & 200 pump them! At the end of the day these cheaters need to remember that this is there job & yes before everyone replies with "it's only a cash cup, the prize pool is shit anyway", It's not the point of that. There's plenty of other scenarios that could of happened which could result in Clix loosing thousands & again you all will "But clix is rich, he has plenty of money" He still has things to pay for aswel. Clix worked his ass of to get were he is & he was successful in doing so.

Yes, the anti cheat is good for casual players and you won't see many cheaters, but it becomes very frustrating once you try to push out of casual gamemodes. The same anti cheat that Fortnite uses is also being used in Apex and in that game, cheaters are running around going months without being banned, heck the #1 ranked player was banned after months of people screaming. EAC needs to fix something, im tired of trying to play any gamemode ranked or pubs and getting beat on by aimbot/aimsnapping demons who can't win between Fortnite and Apex.

The cheat seller are being given legal action. But to achieve this, it takes time. Well known cheat sellers like Smelo (VMX owner) and Blaze were both served with a cease and desist. Unless you're selling the cheats I think it's a lot harder for them to take legal action.

yall do realize other than pro players and content creators that cover pro FN nobody cares. You got Lego fn and guitar hero. unreal engine 5 map making. Endless creative modes. The last thing Epic cares about is the battle royale let alone comp. the Esports of this game is headed downhill. as annoyingly intrusive as valorants anticheat is, it might be required for a game like fortnite. however this would likley kill support for fortnite on macos and consoles (android devices may need to be rooted) but this would cut the amount of cheaters down way more than what they are currently doing
