I can say I attest to that - but he didn't cheat on me, he strung me along for 5 more years - even though we both decided to remain friends - after we broke up for the 3rd time. He dissed me for another person and THAT day was when I discovered he had someone else. I felt exactly like that(a black depression, self-esteem almost to nothing, and suicidal thoughts(especially toward the end of the year), and self-hate + trying to think of him as dead, in my eyes. I'll never forget the betrayal(another feeling I felt) but I'm still struggling to forgive him.
