Meeting in a public place is an insult to your children. If indeed your wife is dead then yes you are entitled to have another relationship. However you also need to think of your children. I have always found children to be honest with their feelings and if they have taken an instant dislike to this woman then they see something you don't. A man is thinking below his belt not his heart or head. Children are thinking with their hearts and to disrespect that is your biggest mistake. Step parents can indeed turn out to be wonderful loving parts to a family. It needs to happen organically and the first time you raise your voice to them because you're frustrated with them will be the worst thing you have ever done. Not only will they see him/her as the enemy you are also the enemy especially if you have not done that before. The young girl feels it more because she is a daddy's girl and to her you betrayed her. Irrational to you but deadly important to her well being and her look on life. Selfish maybe but understandable. No warning nothing you just turned up with a strange woman. You get what you deserve

All stepmother are not bad but I personally don't want them to stay with stepmother it would be better live in hostel or stay away from them of course if father can't leave without her he can have her enjoy but never accept her as mother's replacement ever stay away them as long they can.

Why?? she is a great person/woman. She actually cares even more about the kids and her mother than he does (he's often on the road for work). You need to give her the opportunity before judging that she wouldn't be a good parent. Some step parents or adopted parents are even better than the actual birth parents.

Never try to pass another woman or man onto children.One they will hate you two they have a real parent mother and father,so kids will tell them the truth never ever stop them from voicing there opinion on this matter.Hated is carried into older age.Children need routine and not passed around like a bucket of chicken,everything needs time to adjust.
