You should try big spell elemental mage. I've been having very good results with it and oppenent very rarely expects all the tempo and stats you can push out. The 7/4 that deals 7 damage split across enemies and the 3/2 that makes copies of itself just let you keep pushing out threat after threat to the point that they're too busy trying to stay alive on board that they just take a pyroblast to the face and die. Super fun deck.

I like big spell millhouse and excavate! I can usually get rid of the cheaper spells before the naga goes down. My favorite moment was burning a warrior down with sunset volleys and firelands portals.

this is such a cool deck. barbaric sorcerer was always just the naga from amalgam of the depths that i didn't care about when playing naga mage, i never thought of actually using the card's effect

Both of those spells serve a very specific function and are kinda critical to the deck. Why would you risk giving your opponent two walls that are difficult to deal with in an aggressive deck when you have no way to clear them outside of running bodies into them? And you definitely don't wanna give them a board clear with a big body. The deck doesn't need draw since it has a decent curve and you can mindlessly just play what's in your hand at basically any point in the game and always get value out of it.

Also, giving either spell to the opponent makes Barbaric Sorceress unplayable, which defeats half the point of the deck.

It's a troll deck. Notice that this is one of the very few videos in which he doesn't mention the win rate in the intro? It's fun when it works, but it's not meant for competitive play.

They keycard of the deck is the 3 Mana spell which gives fatigue to you and your opponent. You copy the effect with the 5 mana legendary which copies shadowspells or with queen azshara. Your wincondition is either win through that spell or with a few 8,9,10 dmg Crescendo which is also a heal-to-full-effect combined with the new 4 mana legendary. The sludges are just nice to clear minions or to finish your opponent with them after you cleared the board with crescendo. Your 1 mana "make your hero immune on your turn" is also a keycard and you have to keep it for your combo turns (eg: turn 8: Lady Darkvein (last shadow spell = 3 mana fatigue spell) + void virtuoso + defile). If you casted one 3 mana spell before this is 3+4+5+6 = 18 facedmg, if you casted two 3 mana spells its 5+6+7+8=26 facedmg. Most of the time this is enough to finish, if not you just slamm a 8 dmg Crescendo or cast 2-3 Sludges for lethal dmg. I would rly recommend to try this deck!

@@ProfessorEich btw the deck is awesome so far. I don't have the legendary sludge guy who reduces fel spells I replaced him with a very random card like mother imp? (I think that's the name of card) But yeah I wanted to ask what do you think would be a more suited replacement? I know it's tough because it's a card of its own plus the heal is really nice (I just don't justify crafting this card at all sadly)

@@ProfessorEich also idk if you've checked out funkimonki, but his latest video has a sludge deck and it's super nice! Basically you shuffle as many sludges as you can, then on combo turn u just put out that +2 spell dmg minion and steam cleaner and boom you can probably print out 30+ dmg easily! I was thinking maybe of combining both your deck with his on a 40 card list but it may be too much for one deck LOL

Interesting deck but wow: Is Standard tame (compared to Wild) these days :D Almost no Boardclears / Comebacks from opponents and most of the time insta-concede when falling behind. Most of the cards wouldn't see play in Wild ;) And for his pretty good winrate (most of the time) he gets pretty tilted pretty fast...

Yea I've been trying it. Funny one in 20 games. The rest are steamrolls where you're praying to get any of the cards necessary for a lame trick with bad payoff.
