To everyone calling the husband a simp, loser, whimp or whatever....shame on you. Is it really so hard for a husband to have full trust in his wife? Most people would be thankful for a trustful partner as were all taught at a very yoing age. There is never a relationship without trust.

@QueenCheatingTales

Oh, come on now! That's a bit of a stretch, don't you think? Not every breakup's gotta involve some backup plan waiting in the wings. People split for all sorts of reasons, not just 'cause they got someone else lined up. Plus, life ain't always so straightforward, you know? It's messy, complicated, and sometimes things just don't work out, plain and simple. So, let's not jump to conclusions about everyone's breakup story being some kind of monkey business, alright?

It is a mistake to draw children into these situations. I made this comment some time ago and will repeat it here. I know a female about 45 who has tried for close to 25 years now to get her father to speak to her or even want to be around her kids. She will soon have a grandkid. All because she turned her back on her father when she was about 18. Listened to her mother's lies about him. He just left Virginia, and even after being invited he would not attend her marriage. He was not there when his grandkids were born. This even upset her mother who finally told her the truth. Some people don't handle betrayal well, not even when it is their own children.

The problem is you can't have it both ways. Being manipulated does require some initiative on your part. Say sorry doesn't always cover for the concept of often picking sides. It would be better to not force people to pick sides but most situations don't align in this area.

Sweet merciful eff! Mark needs to get tested. His awareness and behavior are more akin to a kid in an adults body. At 1:22:00 I have to admit I was not surprised at Marks surprise and didn't feel a single ounce of pity for him. For the entirety of the story Mark seems to think that his STARE has any meaning at all and was nearly his only response to any situation. Telling Jim "were not friends anymore" tends to stop being an insult when people grow up. At no point does he assert himself to Jim or his wife. Always letting them talk him into or out of whatever and never once putting his foot down. Worse yet trying to take wild swings at someone far larger and stronger with more fighting skills (I imagined Mark deploying "the windmill" attack). This dude could have taken an upper hand from nearly day 1 and did nothing but make harsh stares, stomp his feet, and bail leaving the wife and Jim alone at his house. Feel bad for anyone who is treated his way but Mark deserves everything that comes his way until he learns lessons most people picked up in High School.

Him feeling like such a weakling was so sad and frustrating to listen to. Guys like Mark should've gotten into boxing or bjj long ago, to develop some confidence, and some capability. Jim is scum, a wolf in sheep's clothing. He's the one the worst kind of people you can come across. Mark was a sucker for continuing to be his friend and knowing about his glaring character flaws.

He nearly fell over in a Coma when the daughter at 14 was forced to be making after he LET his wife poison the well though I wonder really how much since she despite being well a w**re, she actively was seeking to keep him and her daughter connected and seemingly not for anything malicious in the case of the Father - daughter relationship. A shame he didnt do anything 98% of the story ago and only took 1 hour and 46 minutes for him to realize he was 'stupid' . Even then he was still stupid as a father for most of the story including basically abandoning his kid who clearly just wanted to at that point be with both parents.

This protagonist took way to long to find a pair of balls. His wife didn't even try to hide her growing affair with the AP (his best friend). He had evidence of the blossoming affair. And he did absolutely nothing to prevent it all from falling apart. Or even prep an exit. Hate to say it, but I found myself rooting for the wife and AP. Worse, in the end as it turns out, he was apparently only renting those balls he found. Because he took the e-train back to simp town in the end.

The story is interesting, perhaps a little too long, especially in the part before the divorce, in which it seems a little repetitive and a little boring. Then she suddenly becomes frantic after the latest argument with his ex-wife, when she tells him that she no longer wants anything to do with his daughter. The story is very sad and highlights the scale of this woman's values. The husband's love is worth less than luxury and the good life.

This guy would be the weakest man ever to do what he did leading up to the divorce. He allowed blatant disrespect from jim and his wife, he was overly emotional, timid, and did not back up his words. He served his wife up on a platter, but selfishness was in her nature. Decades old friendship with Jim eh? 304 wife? No dna test? Please.

A real friend would have backed off instead of pushing his way in. This story was written to its conclusion within the first 15 minutes. Go to roughly the 1 hr 20 min mark to get to the affair revelation.
