I grew up in the early 1970's during the Women's Lib Movement, where women had to struggle to be on par with men in the work place. So with all the rewards that came from Women's Lib, Title IX, and all of the protections to safeguard women against discrimination/sexual harassment in the workplace, and the contemporary women in this story just royally shat on that generation of women, who struggled for basic equality in the workplace, and allowed themselves to become office in-house 304's in order to 'ho themselves up the corporate career ladder.
