13:02 A whole week and he is still stuck at “stupid”? No talking to a lawyer (finding out his options/situation), no investigating his ex/her work or her potential APs, no talking to anyone. He is an accountant and his mind finds order/balance (1+1=2)…but he crumbles and does NOTHING for a whole week after suspecting/learning (no hard proof) his alive was cheating and wanted a divorce!? It’s obvious he is NOT wearing the pants in the relationship..no balls/spine to be found here and no male friend/role model to smack some sense into him.

Is it acceptable to have an opinion on half of a story? I think it's reasonable to post a comment suggesting he should move on as she has. Simply because you want to post your comment after listening to the entire story doesn't mean everyone needs to do the same. I know the story is hyperbolic. Here is the issue. Any man that could walk away from his wife leaving 2 small children at some point in the future will leave this woman. There is no security in such a relationship. At some point, that woman is going to come back. I would give her what she wants, but I would also make sure the divorce is clearly understood to be final. Trust me, it is not a matter of if she returns, but when!

@Caelus328 ай бұрын
I'm sure he was. It just wasn't important to the story. In storytelling, you typically don't talk about that which isn't overly important to the story. He most likely already knew where his kids were (as through inference they seem to be fully grown) and therefore they weren't too crucial for the story

To all you young men. Who you marry today. Will not be who you will be married to in the future. Once the kids leave all you have is each other. And about that time woman will go through a midlife crisis. They start feeling old and empty. It does not take much for them to screw some other dude, that will give them the least bit of attention. They will justify their feelings and wants over all else. Keep this in mind my young men. The list of woman you can trust is very very narrow…….good luck.. yes, I know this is a story…
