Addendum to my original comment: This story opens the door wide open for any number of prequels and sequels and I for one would be very interested in seeing this happen. So, c'mon LLC, let's have more stories involving this protagonist and his organization's activities.

LLC has done it again with another riveting story while including some Jethro Tull references which I very much appreciated. Still have my vinyl copy of "Thick As A Brick" which I do admit I didn't buy when it wss released in 72 but got it somewhere around 3 or 4 years later. Might dig it out for a listen tomorrow. This yarn deserves 👍🏻👍🏻 and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a BetterStory! No jumping plot lines, and a more realistic ending. I do wish that the authors of these stories didn’t make committed women out to be whores, one and all, because we are not whores. There are more men than women who commit that sin.

"Seeing her in one of my long sleeved shirts and nothing else" It is amazing, with all of the sexy Lingerie available for a woman, much of it absolutely incredible, a simple mens shirt is one of the sexiest. Something about seeing your woman wearing one of your shirts. The shirt tail just barely covering her bum, the high cut sides showing her legs and the sleeves rolled partly up with the top 3 or 4 buttons undone. For me a white shirt with thin blue strips holds very fond memories. A T shirt works well also if it is the perfect length.

@@Toka972good point on the stagnation part. I'll throw in mine, I thought it was inconsistent with this dude's problem solving skills and perceptive nature to all of a sudden ask his ex wife "I just wanna know one thing....why?" Can we seriously stop with that shit? He said it at the beginning, you're an enemy of mine and you just declared "war". At that point, "why" stopped mattering a LONG time ago.

Dude made a major mistake having his stbexs lawyer accompany him to the house. He should have called the police and had the wife removed. If she wants him 500 feet away, she can be the one to leave his house. At best the lawyer is his adversary being his wife's representative and is not a good candidate as a witness, at worst, she's a corrupt enemy who will conspire against him.
