I was in 1st or 2nd grade when harry potter came out and grew up on the boxcar children, the magic tree house, more of the fantasy books 😊

I have never read Ready Player One and not into video games but I did go to the movie and was surprised how much I liked it.

The Hunger Games Trilogy is one of my favorites, too. I enjoyed learning more about you through your favorite books.

Goosebumps really got me into reading. I still love them. I think legend of the lost legend is my favorite. The hunger games is my favorite series. I think Mockingjay is the best of the movies. Odder and crenshaw were cute reads. I recommend the one and only Ivan.

I adored The Sundown Motel if you like a paranormal thriller, but Listen for The Lie and The Only One Left are also excellent

Oo that sounds interesting. I’m pretty sure I actually have The Sundown Motel on my shelves. I’ve heard The Only One Left was also good. Thanks for the recs! 😊

I like Kate Morton but they are so long that I keep avoiding them even though I know I’ll like them!
@PagesandChaos6 ай бұрын
I get that. I usually read her when I know I have a long while to get through it lol

I love Kate Morton's books too! I haven't read The House at Riverton or Homecoming yet, but I've read all of her other books. Yes, The Remnant Chronicles is so good! The second book was my favorite, but mostly because I really liked the politics in it. Ready Player One was so much fun! It's not a "serious" sci-fi, but it's great as an '80s nostalgia read.

Yeah that’s probably why I liked Ready Player One because it’s not a hard core sci-fi lol. It was a fun read for sure

Your favorite books list has lots of my favorites. I love Mary Higgins Clark! I’ve been reading her since I was 18 years old. You’ll need to let me know which books you are missing by Clark, so I can check for them at my local Friends of the Library store. When my son Andrew studied in France one summer, he brought me back a copy of The Little Prince in French. 😊 Believe it or not, I have never read The Little Prince. 🤦🏻♀️ I know, I need to at some point. I’ll be reading The Last Word in July for Summerween and Giallo July. Enjoyed this video, Jen! 🤩

@@katsnoveladventures1863 thank you! You have to read it. It’s such a quick read and says so much in such a small book💜

Would love to do a Hunger Games read along (or buddy read) if you feel up to it! I want to read Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes but definitely need a refresher, I haven’t read it since college which was a while ago by now 😆 Loved seeing all your faves! 💜

@@ShainaInColorland absolutely! I would love to do a buddy read! Same here😂 even though I know the story inside and out I want to reread before reading the Ballad of Songbird and especially before the next one coming out in 2025

I remember The Hunger Games came out when I was around 9 and I loved it (maybe not a book for a 9yo but, oh well lol)! Catching Fire was in my Top 10 books for years. I love that you included them :) Odder sounds so cute! I can't wait to pick it up. I loved the video and getting to know you a little better. It's so nice that you're a teacher, thanks for your work
