Glad to hear that Premier finally did the right thing. Now I can buy again as I had boycotted them in solidarity with you and Jan. I do like their yarn and hated missing their big sale but I did not buy any. I am a knitter, but I do not like knitting socks but if you are going to make them put both on the needles at the same time, so you do not have to go back to make the second and your tension is more equal on both.

Good morning Laura 🌞! It made me so happy to hear that Premeir decided to do Alaskans right with free shipping. It’s only right. They actually have some of my favorite yarns. A Jan (blue) and a Laura (orange) pair of socks. 🆒! All of your haul is awesome. I think the Rustic is the one that’s on sale until sold out. So it will be going away. I believe that’s what Creative Grandma said yesterday when she highlighted the Black Friday sale.

I have made 35 pair of socks in 2 years. Mine are all crocheted using Heart, Hook and Home..herringbone sock pattern. The pattern is on Raverly and she has a tutorial that explains the heel really well. I wear my socks all the time and my best friend enjoys them too. The crochet socks work up really fast. The socks are 65 rows, not counting the 22 heel rows. I can do a row in less than 4 minutes. Look at the pattern on her blog.

Hello Lara I was just about to triple dog dare you to join but now I dont have to. I have also never made socks before. If you can knit and purlthen a very easy pair of socks to make with texture is the (Austin) pattern @crazy sock lady. She showes you exactly how to make the socks from start to finish. And yes they are super simple tomake as i am doing them as we speak.
