Aren’t they basically quilling tools? How do they differ from regular quilling rollers?

Hi! You can quill with these. However, the slot is on one side of the pin and goes all the way down to the handle. Most people quill with a tool that has a shallow slot on both sides of the pin at the very top. This type of tool is traditional for rolling paper beads.
